This report presents a comprehensive data analysis of a survey conducted to evaluate the impact of demographic factors and working conditions on the choice of blue collar jobs. The research involved 294 respondents and utilized reliability analysis, correlation, cross tabulation, and regression techniques to test five hypotheses. The findings reveal insights into age, geographic location, gender, ethnicity, and education levels of the participants, and their relationship with the tendency to take up blue collar jobs. The analysis further explores the importance of salary, benefits, work environment, job security, and the nature of work as factors influencing job preferences. The study found that gender, ethnicity, and education have a significant correlation with the tendency to take up blue collar jobs, with a low positive correlation observed. Regression analysis was used to develop a predictive model, and the report concludes with a detailed discussion of the results and their implications.
