This assessment requires you to answer a number of underpinning knowledge questions
about managing meetings.

This assessment activity is designed to assess your skills and knowledge in providing information
to families about their child.
1.1 Develop a survey of at least five open-ended questions that you could ask parents about the
current curriculum and learning environment. The questions should allow the parents to be
able to identify:
a) the strengths of the current curriculum and learning environment
b) the weaknesses of the current curriculum and learning environment
c) whether the goals of the current curriculum are being met (if not, explain why)

1.2 Write a report on how you would address any changes required changes as suggested in
responses from parents in your survey.
All the responses obtained for the survey questions would be properly recorded and examined.
All the weakness associated with the curriculum and learning environment would be taken
into consideration and every possible effort would be made to rectify the same at the earliest
possible. Efforts would also be made to incorporate aspects, which parents think are missing
in the curriculum.

1.3 Use the program plan template (attached) or develop your own (Attach to your

Explain how the format is used to present what is occurring in the curriculum. Describe
how it:
a) communicates the experiences and activities being implemented to parents;
