EVALUATION REPORT
INTRODUCTION
An evaluation report is described as a paper which is used by researchers for examining a
product, service or projects which are in progress as per the set standards (Jones, 2018). Its main
purpose is to provide a transparent basis in relation to accountability for outcomes, making
decisions for policies as well as drawing lessons for making modifications. This evaluation
report is concerned with personal assessment in regards with my skills, experiences, analysing
strengths and weaknesses in an effective manner. This evaluation is considered as basis for
making the practices in relation to self-assessment effective. For evaluating my skills and
technical expertise in an effective manner, I have prepared three questions of whose answers I
found during this process.
What are my strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths- By doing this project, I have gain insights in regards with my strengths as
well as weakness in an effective manner. I got to know that I am good in doing secondary
research whereby I can evaluate differential pieces of knowledge from blogs and varied websites
in an effective manner. I am good in time management skills which helps in performing the
specified task in a strategic manner. This also help me in bifurcating my time in a specified
manner for performing varied activities through an exponential manner. I am good in making the
project creative which helps me in securing good grades in university exams. I am good at
graphic designing skills which led me to perform this task in an effective manner.
Weaknesses- I lack the abilities of making mood board and mind maps in a strategic
manner. I got confused in choosing pictures which carries relevancy with the chosen theme. I am
also weak in preparing mind maps as it lead to writing the statements in one or two words in an
effective manner. I am unable to write the statement through some words. I am also lacking in
practices in relation to vocabulary.

Did you conduct primary and secondary research?
Yes, I have conducted primary as well as secondary research for doing this project in a
strategic manner. I have chosen questionnaire technique for conducting primary research
effectively. I have made questionnaire in relation with my theme which is chosen as product of
hospitality industry that is restaurant. Through conducting primary research, individuals can gain
valuable insights regarding the choices as well as dynamic trends of market as well as customers
in context to restaurant (Sun and Lipsitz, 2018). In accordance with conducting primary research,
I came across some barriers such as formulation of questionnaire and reaching to customer base
in an effective manner.
In relevance with secondary research, I gain knowledge through analysing varied blogs
and websites. I am good in collecting information through secondary research as it helps me in
gathering the data sets in an effective manner. This secondary research is considered as
beneficial for individuals to gain insights regarding doing my project on my theme of restaurants
(Cole and Trinh, 2017). Although, I am good at conducting secondary research, I face some
disruptions such as relevancy of the blogs in context to chosen theme.
Did you design solutions connected to sustainability?
Sustainability is considered as vital for organisations to develop their operations in an
effective manner (Clayton and Radcliffe, 2018). It is imperative for organisational managers for
adopting sustainable practices in a significant manner. I have also adopted sustainable practices
in relevance with maintaining sustainability in my design development which is considered as
important for researchers. My design solutions are concerned with using of sustainable practices
such as computerised ways and avoid the exercise of wasting papers for designing my theme.
In relevance with restaurants, sustainability issues are concerned with water conservation,
carbon footprint, shortage of supply chain, food wastage in a strategic manner (Cavagnaro and
Curiel, 2017). I have chosen the area of graphic designing for developing the sustainable
practices for my theme of restaurant.
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned information, it has been assessed that evaluation report is
considered as important for researchers for analysing the weaknesses, strengths and skills in an

exponential manner. Evaluation report is considered as vital for researchers to make their
projects effective as well as understandable. It is imperative for restaurant owners to implement
those practices which are considered as sustainable while operating their business operations in
an effective manner.
