Who and what is this Design Report for?
Ans: In this report, user is asked to design and implement a website in response is given for
the project in proper thoughtful and creative way. The project mainly comprises of design
report and website implementation (Cai et al., 2018). In the design report, a description has
been provided with respect design and development of required decision for any given
website. It is completely related to the brief. Both design and development choices are
completely made justified with respect to research of design principles. It merely focuses on
the good practices of web design. The submission of website of HTML/CSS files comprises of
proper functioning of the website which is completely described in the design report.
What can we expect from the following pages?
Ans: In this report, a complete design and documentation of the website has been done. It
merely combines fiction and educational content with the visual themes from a fiction text
that is merely available for the target audience (McDowell, Wilson & Kile 2016). The broad

Target Audience
Who is the specific target audience in relation to the brief?
Ans: The main category of audience is the people that is between the age of 4 and 25 years
of age. For the given young children and parent audience the point needs to be noted that
educational content is themed and comes up with characteristics and stories. The stories
can be either fiction in nature or non-fiction in nature which can ultimately improve the
overall learning experience (Cyr et al., 2018). Considering the old audience, the educational
content is mainly provided in clean way. It is mainly done for inspired fashion. It merely
tends to highlight the required character or stories which will create sense of imagination
and fun in the website.

What is your chosen educational content?
Ans: In this section, user needs to make a choice with respect to the type of content which
they want to communicate with the website. It does not be scholastic that can teach people
about anything in which people are interested (Moura, Singh & Chun, 2016). The education
content chosen is “How car engine works” which is mainly chosen from physical resource.
Why is this educational content an interesting choice for the target audience?
Ans: This particular educational content is known to be an interesting factor for the target
audience. This particular topic will provide an overview with respect to engine and provide
details about how all the pieces fit together (De Leeuw, 2015). The list of things that go
wrong and methods to increase the overall performance. The main notion of car engine is all
about converting gasoline into motion by which the car can move. It is the easiest method
of motion from gasoline (Meloni, 2016). In this, gasoline is completely burnt inside the
engine. A car comes with an internal combustion engine where all sort of combustion takes
place. In this, there are mainly different kind of internal combustion engine where diesel
engine is one type where gas turbine is of second type.

What is your chosen story and genre?
Ans: In this section, user need to select a fiction story so that they can easily make use of
visual and themes for this particular website (Alawar & Naser, 2017). The selected story is
mainly taken from the printed books and does not originated from TV show or even movie.
Why is this story an interesting choice for the website’s visuals & theme in relation to the
target audience?
Ans: This story chosen for this website visual and theme with respect to target audience is
“Charlie and Chocolate Factory” which is completely based on beloved Roald Dahl tale. This
particular comedic and fantastic film aims to follow young children and Grandpa Joe (Jain,
2015). In the story, the characters joined to form a part of contest winners that gets the tour
of magical and mysterious factory. Considering Oompa Loompa workers, there is hidden
kind of motivation for the given tour. One the given single day of the tour, it will merely
reveal only after the children in the allocated groups which will provide true colours.

Card Sorting
Reflect on the success of the Card Sorting design activity you did in Week 4.
Ans: The overall outcome of design activity will be merely included in the website design
and its implementation. Card sorting technique is mainly needed for proper design and
overall evaluation of information architecture for a given site (Mahajan & Halfond, 2015).
Participants mainly organizes on topics and required categories which makes sense to use
them. It will merely be used in label for given groups.
In this activity, the complete class was divided into 2 mere groups. In the first, there
will be presenters and in another will be users. In the given section, switch roles halfway will
come into action through the whole class by which everyone will have the equal opportunity
(Jiang et al., 2016). It will be given to the both presenter and user. Presenter will provide
card sorting on the table in the given tutorial room. User will mainly go for a free table and
will follow the instruction for the card sorting. As soon as the whole thing is finished stand
up to allow the another user in.
