final product.
• It provides the actual
communication between the
stakeholders and users.
• The error is detected earlier
in the development stages to
save money and time.

Disadvantages of
Prototyping
• Insufficient analysis: The
focus on limited prototype
functions can make the
developers distracted from
analysing the complete
project.
• User confusion: The user
might take the prototype for
the final product which
might be good or bad for the
final product.
• Misunderstood user
objective: The objectives of
the customers and
developers must be the
same.
