Week 1
In the first week, the topic of design thinking was introduced through which it was seen how
visualisation was a key aspect of it. I understood that design thinking is that process in which the
issues are solved in a creative manner hence leading to a better understanding of the customer’s
feelings. This helps in building a better understanding of how the problems can be solved. This
tool is considered to be the most effective one as it helps in creating a creative solution
(Kembaren, et. al. 2014). All of the aspects that are needed for creativity are involved in
visualisation hence making it one of the most important tools present. It was seen how design
thinking helps in the creation of innovative products hence increasing the success rate of such
products in the market. Reflective writing was also introduced in which the work being done by
us would have to be reflected on.
