Introduction
Edelman is one of the famous American public relations company established by Daniel
Edelman in the year 1952. The company is situate in Chicago. As per the report of 2018 the
company is consider as the largest public relations company with maximum revenue among
different public relations company present in the world. The company is currently operated by
the son of Daniel Edelman named Richard Edelman.
Discussion
At the beginning the company had started working with three employees at their primary
headquarter at Chicago and then continued its business by serving more than 20 accounts at the
end of 1950. The company had expanded their firm and establish next branches at New York and
Loss Angeles in the Year 1967 (Edelman.com, 2019). Gradually the company had expanded its
business in different parts of the world like Mexico, Japan, China, Argentina and other foreign
countries present in the Globe. In the year, 1992 and 1994 the company has established its
business in United States and California respectively to provide their service to different
technology clients. The firm had reported to generate more than $ 60 million by the end of the
year 1994.
Edelman is consider as the first Public Relations private firm that started working on web
based projects for their different clients spread across the globe (Austin, & Pinkleton, B.2015).
The company has promoted wine and blowing for California Wine Institute and National
Blowing Council respectively, just to focus on staying it in shape. Beside this, the company has
helped Symantec to promote the Norton, the antivirus software in different countries since the
year 2008.
