PART C: Role Play
1. Proper time period will be needed for complete management role-play. In this role I present
the design of WHS management system and WHS policy to the CEO. For taking approval to the
CEO is important because it helps in designing of WHS management system and policy
systematically and successfully.
2. In order to propose the design of an appropriate WHS management system and WHS draft
policy to the CEO, there are different points that will be essential for me as a role of operation
manager. These points will be explained as below:
There are different number of core elements of systems and proposed changes that will be
essential and beneficial for Endurance Fitness after COVID 19. These elements are;
screening measures will be implemented, self-serve options may be eliminated, there
might be a limited capacity, members should remain a safe distance apart etc. These are
major elements that helps in opening of gym successfully and safely (da Silva and
Amaral, 2019).
There are some relevant standards that must be follow by Endurance Fitness while
opening gym. These are; age of 65 years, adults with co-morbidities, pregnant women
and children under the age of 10 should not use gyms in closed spaces, focus on
staggered timings to avoid overcrowding of people etc.
There are different number of legislative requirements for WHS management that are
related to record keeping such as health and safety policies and procedures, standard
operating procedures, organisational code of conduct, equipment records including
inspections, maintenance and repair etc.
There is requirement of WHS policies for Endurance Fitness such as making place of
gym safe and healthy, outline the duties and responsibilities for trainer. Following health
and safety act 2010 is a best and effective way for company to protect safety of their
customers from the Coronavirus. There are different objectives of thus act such as secure
and promote the health, safety and welfare of people at work, develop as well as promote
community awareness of occupational health and safety issues etc. Therefore, following
heath and safety act 2012 helps Endurance Fitness in its re-opening and in improvement
of brand imgae in marketplace.

appropriate information about the safety to the gymer (Darabont, Antonov and Bejinariu,
2017).
There are various number of personal trainer certification that must be follow by trainer.
These are best of additional specialisation, best of guided study, best for performance
based training, best for professional support, best for continuing education support etc.
These are major possible certification options for Endurance Fitness. There are various
steps that are essential in the process of certification. These are; approval to commerce
development, develop certification material, company review, approve certification
materials, publish certification materials, launch certification program, operate
certification program. All these are effective steps that will be essential in the process of
certification for Endurance Fitness. In this meeting I also increased my knowledge
regarding the ways for making safe environment. These are; use of mask and face cover
are mandatory, individuals must maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet as far as feasible,
utilise outdoor spaces, whenever possible, users to sanitize their hands before using
equipment etc. These are major guidelines that will be essential for me in making safe
environment of gym.
PART D:Facilitate the participation of individuals and parties in finalising the
WHS policy
In this part I am able for preparing a final draft of the WHS policy and designing of
WHSMS incorporating the changes that may be suggested by the management team
during the consultation. Therefore, it is important for Endurance Fitness to follow all
standards and policies at place of gym (Darabont and et. al., 2017). COVID 19 is a
pandemic situation that harms on individual life. Therefore, it is my role as an operational
manager to develop safe environment for gymer. This will helps me in increasing of
gymer trust that results in higher sales and strong brand image in marketplace. In meeting
