INTRODUCTION
Business practices that are suggested in measuring proper responsibility structure. It
involves clearly define fields of duties, set up objectives and objectives, give proper training and
open communication channels etc. With the help of improving and developing skills and
knowledge, rising practices in business exploration and environment(Godwyn and Stoddard,
2017). Skills and abilities are essential for improving performance, achieving goals and career
development in any field. By taking training, skills and capabilities are improved. This report is
based on personal reflection which consider different skills that helps in learning and are highly
valued by employers.
MAIN BODY
Personal reflection
Skills are very important for me for improving performance, practices and achieving my
career goals as well as objective (Cohen, 2017). So that, I am trying to develop my skills or
abilities to effective work practices in the business. There are many skills that are helping in
exploring of business practices. Such as:
Communication skills: Effective communication skill both verbal and written is very
important for sharing ideas and information in the workplace as well as any other place. My
communication skill is weak, so that I am unable to communicate in front of large audience and
sharing ideas. Therefore, I am joining training sessions for improving my this skill. With the help
of training, I am perfectly sharing ideas and creativity for effective working. By improving this
skill, I am building my relationship with other employees in the workplace. Because of, it is very
essential skill that identify my behaviour nature and way of talking with people. By improving
this skill, I am improved and explored my business practices. My written communication is
better but verbal is not effective. Therefore, I am joining coaching and improving verbal way of
talking for business practices. Effective communication skill helps me for learning ability and
capacity in the workplace. By improving communication skill, I am participating in many
activities in business. I am improving and developing my this skill for exploring business
practices.

Team working skills: Team working skills are very essential for exploring business
practices. So that, I am improving my team working skill in group working in the business. For
effective team working, I am proper communicating with team members, giving respect,
effective listening to all members and sharing creative and innovative ideas for impressive
group activities. I am also consulting with each and every member for making appropriate
decisions in team. I am managing members, so that there is no conflict between them. By
solving different problems that happen in team, I am improving my team work skill. This skill
helps to me for developing relations with all team members. I am giving proper guidance to my
team members for completing their task and activities. I am also encouraging them for
participating in various activities in the workplace. With the help of team working skill, I am
exploring my business practices. Effective communication skill helps me to impressive team
working ability. I am improving performance of my team members by training and developing
team working skill in the workplace.
Interpersonal skills: It is skill that I am utilizing in everyday when communicating and
interacting with employees and other people in the workplace. It includes body language,
communication, leadership, listening, positive attitude etc(Gresch and Rawls, 2017). With the
help of effective team work, way of talking, I am improving my interpersonal skill and exploring
business practices in the workplace. I am improving this ability by identifying areas for
improvement, directed on basic communication skill, reflect and improve experiences. This skill
helps me not only business but also in life. With the help of this skill, I am improving my
practices in the business. I am improving my skill by attending training and coaching in the
workplace. Through this, I am developing relationship with team members and improving
workplace environment and culture. With the help of effective communication, I am developing
my skill for exploring the business practices. This assists in growing abilities and capacities for
impressive working in the company. I am improving and developing experiences for growing
interpersonal skill. Verbal communication is essential for improving this skill.
Numeracy skills: It is the skill to cause and to concern simple mathematical concept.
This consist of comprehend fundamental calculation like addition, abstraction, multinational
and division. I am improving numeracy skill that is leading to better pain jobs, greater and well

being as well as less stressful life. Therefore, I am improving this skill for exploring business
practices. With the help of this skill, I am improvinmg my calculation and solving numerical
problems in the workplace. I am developing my skill by taking advice from my superiors and
joining training. With the help of this ability, I am helping in solve numerical problems of my
team members. Through it, I am managing financial resource of business. So that, I am growing
this skill for solving issues relating to numerical in the workplace. With the help of this skill, I am
improving financial performance of the business. Through it, I am analysing and sense of
information and increase professionals’ development in the workplace. It is the ability to
access, utilize and understand mathematical data and thoughts to meet numerical demand in
life on daily basis.
Information and Communications (ICT) Skills: The ability required to utilize the basic
activity of data as well as communication technologies to relative, evaluate, store and modify
information. This helps to interact and involve in mutual network through internet. I am
improving and developing this skill for solving issues relating to technology and internet.
Through training, I am developing my information and communication skill in the workplace
and exploring business practices. This helps in solving issues regarding technical in the
company. Effective verbal communication skill assists way of talking from telephone. With the
help of this skill, I am sharing ideas and information for solving issues of my team members in
the workplace. By resolving problems in team work, I am developing relationship with members
in the organization. Through this, I am improving and developing my ability to work in the
company. This also helps in increasing competencies and capacities for effective information
and communication skill in the business.
Problem Solving Skills: The skill helps in improving problem solving skill for resolve
conflicts in the business. It involves active listening, creativity, communication, decision making,
dependability, team building and creativity(Gresch and Rawls, 2017). This helps in solving the
problems of regular basis in the workplace. I am adopting definition of problem, generating
alternative, evaluating and choosing alternatives, implementing solutions. With the help of this,
I am improving and developing my problem solving skills and abilities for effective working in
the business. Through it, I am developing and building up interpersonal relationship, effective

team work, managing risk in problem in the workplace. Through identify problem, structuring,
making decision and taking solution of problem. I am evaluating and monitoring of issues in
team work and business I am growing this skill and taking solution of these issues in the
workplace. I am taking advice to my superior and getting solution of problems and developing
skills in the company.
Time management skills: I am unable to manage time in completing work, so that I am
developing my time management skill. With the help of this skill, I am completing my work on
time in the workplace. I am improving and developing skills and ability in effective team work in
the business. By focusing on goal, planning, appropriate problem solving, I am growing and
improving time management skill. This assists in increasing self confidence, motivation, focus
and decisions making for solving problems and effective team work. I am developing time
management skill for easily making decisions and exploring practices business in the workplace.
With the help of it, I am growing and improving this skill in the workplace.
With the help of these skill and ability, I am solving all problems and taking decisions for
business. Through it, I am developing and exploring business practices in the workplace.
Through this, I am improving mathematical, decision making, managing time, sharing
information and ideas, building relationship between me and my team members in the
workplace.

This report has summarised that improving and developing different skill such as
communication, time management, problem solving, interpersonal, information and
communication skill, Numeracy skills for exploring business practices. With the help of these, I
am growing and developing skill for effective team work. Through it, I am improving and
