Identification of work related goals and strategies by which they can be attained.
I have been working as a social worker since long. There are various tasks and
responsibilities that I perform as a social worker. The various goals that I have set for myself
have been discussed in the section below. I have also highlighted strategies that can be
adopted by me in order to accomplish the goals (Pinto and Pinto, 2018).

 Learning a relevant skill I have realised that it is quite essential for me
to develop relevant skills in order to perform
better in the social services. I need to conduct
a research regarding the skills that can help in
social work career. I have though upon
reading various job descriptions in the
industry.
 Gaining professional experience I have targeted a goal to gain professional
experience in the field of social work. Hence
I have thought upon the strategy for to join a
professional organisation in order to gain
professional experience as a social worker.
Joining a professional organisation will help
me in brainstorming and analysing various
career goals in order to develop my career.
 Educating several other people
regarding social work
I have further decided to accomplish the goal
of educating several people in context of the
social work. In order to accomplish this
goals, I have set the strategy to conduct
research upon social workers certifications
that tend to appeal various other people as
well. This can help in attracting people who
are passionate regarding the social work and
further integrate the interests that I have as a

career.
Reflection on Personal strengths and how to enhance them.
It is quite definite that an individual has various qualities developed within them self. I have
listed few of my strengths below. Also, I have realised that it is important as an individual to
keep working upon the strengths so that they can be improved in order to meet the needs and
demands in future. I have discussed by strengths along with the ways to enhance them.

Reflection on personal weaknesses and how to address them
Strengths and weaknesses are two sides of coin. I believe that each individual has various
strengths as well as weaknesses. In order to excel in the career it is essential for an individual
to overcome their weakness by addressing them. I have discussed by weaknesses below along
with the ways to address them so that I can perform better towards my career goals (Hayden
and Osborn, 2020).

I believe that I lack on part of communication
skills as well as public speaking skills. Hence
I have decided to study great speakers and
work upon a relaxing body language. I will
make a habit of preparing notes and
rehearsing before the sessions.
