Introduction
Collaborative partnerships refer to agreement as well as set of actions that are being made
through consenting firms to share resources for accomplishment of mutual goals. Networking
and collaborative partnership is dependent on participation of minimum two parties who agree
upon sharing resources like, people, finances and knowledge (Al-Tabbaa, Leach and Khan,
2019). Generally, firms with such kind of partnership have identical goals. This report is based
on different situations in which partnership was used for attainment of common objectives. This
report will provide overview of events, strategies that are being used, projects undertaken and
evaluation of collaboration.
a) Outline of each network or collaboration
The working practice in which individuals work in a team for attainment of common
purpose through which overall goal can be attained is referred to as collaboration. This can be
synchronous (in this each individual communicate within real time like Skype, instant
messaging, etc.) and asynchronous (interaction will be time shifted such as uploading
documents) (Sjöö and Hellström, 2019). The three situations in which network or collaboration
was carried out, are depicted below:
i. The team was formulated for completion of college project to ensure that it is delivered
on time and leads to attain good grades.
ii. The fest (event) was conducted in the college and for these different committees was for
created and there was collaboration among them to ensure that there is no clash in
timings.
iii. On the Christmas Eve party was to be conducted in the Church, for this meeting was
conducted with community for analysis of requirements.
Purpose
There is a reason behind each meeting or collaborations that takes place like goal that has
to be attained. The rationale behind each situation is illustrated beneath:
College project: This was carried out to have a degree and for this team was formulated
so that it can be completed.

College fest: Each year colleges organise 2 day event in which different activities are
conducted. To coordinate among different acts the collaboration occurred for syncing
them so that there is no clash in timings.
Christmas Eve: The party was to be organised and for this it is crucial to identify all the
things like raw materials, cost, etc. required for conducting so that it can be successful.
Key Stakeholders
The organisation, group or people who have interest within the project are referred to as
stakeholders. They have critical impact on the success or failure of the project (Battisti, 2019).
With reference to the situations illustrated above, certain situations are mentioned below:
College project: A group of 3 students was made to work on a project and the other
crucial stakeholder was project mentor who gave precise details related with what has to
be done for completing this.
College fest: This was carried out at high level so there were different teams like
dramatics, dancing, singing, quizzes and many more that have various stakeholders. But
the initial meeting was conducted in between team leaders and 2 other members of each
team so that in case if team leader is not available at certain instance then there is
someone else to communicate. This is done to ensure that events are not affected in
terms of coordination, time management and presence of any group on the stage.
Christmas Eve: Father of the Church is one of the major stakeholders in this case,
volunteers, employees and outreach recipients.
Ways collaboration address needs of organisation
To ensure that precise results are attained within time, collaboration is essential aspect.
The critical perspectives that can be achieved by making its use are development of higher skills
for thinking, promotion of interaction, formulation of affirmative attitude towards subject, share
the views, gain knowledge with respect to different perspectives, problem solving and many
more (Child and et. al, 2019). An instance can be taken into consideration like when individual is
working on a project then it involves various aspects like gathering information related with what
they have to do, what are their requirements, how it can be attained, its implementation, testing
and deployment. But for an instance if any problem occurs then it will be difficult to deal with it
along with this there is time bound and it becomes difficult to manage all aspects. Thus,
collaboration in such kind of projects or in any project makes it ensure that it is completed before

deadline. In addition to this, it also leads to generation of innovative results when different minds
work together. Each has their opinions through which project can be completed and by having
discussions over it enhanced results will be attained (Pearce and et. al, 2019).
Illustrate gaps within collaboration and ways in which they are addressed
Though networking provides enhanced results but there are certain restrictions related
with this aspect or a gap that prevails within. A different individual with distinct intelligence
levels and background forms a part of team. It is obvious that there will be disputes among them
but team leader needs to ensure that such kind of situations does not occur (Racko, Oborn and
Barrett, 2019). Like when opinions are shared each thinks that there idea is better than other but
there is a high probability that others might also think in the same manner. This can be handled
by having meeting and taking into considerations all its positives as well as negatives so that
each can understand what their idea lacks in terms of feasibility like in case of Christmas eve
there is probability that they might not have adequate funds for party so they need to think in that
way so that best can be delivered at minimum prices.
b) Strategies utilised for collaborative practices
College project: The strategy that was used within this was that as per comfort zone work
was divided among 3 people and started working on that. As it was interrelated so
conversation by Skype or video call was carried out whenever any problems were faced.
This was the main strategy while working but ensures that work is done so per the plan
we have a meetings after a day or 2 to ensure that things are as per the plan.
College fest: It was a 2 day event thus it is important to have planning for this
accordingly. Thus, meetings were conducted after a week to know how many events will
be there and whether they have been prepared or not. Along with this, suppliers for raw
materials are also involved so that accordingly they can provide with requirements.
Christmas Eve: The budget was decided for a party by Father and other Chairpersons
then meeting has to be conducted with other stakeholders for having funds and planning
the ways in which it can be organised. This will lead to have a well defined plan for
carrying out party in an effectual manner (Wondirad, Tolkach and King, 2020).

c) Furnish evidence related with collaborative projects taken
The major confirmation of the projects that were undertaken is the final result that is
being attained. Completion of a year while studying, participation within the college functions
and was also a part of event organised by Church that is present in a society.
d) List ways in which organisation was represented in professional manner
The projects were handled in professional manner, the reason behind this is that each
project has its own significance and is necessary that each is conducted in precise manner
(Rockman, 2019). For an instance, the college fest, there will be number of guests and one single
mistake can lead to create a negative impact on the organisation. Thus, it is crucial that each
every aspect is pre planned but this also involves that all the consequences have been considered
before presenting things on the stage. Like if due to any reason electricity is not there then
generators or inverter are made available, security guards of college and also from other
company have been hired to avoid any worse consequences and many more aspects are there
which are regarded so that any situation can handle in an adequate manner.
e) Analyse strengths, weakness, actions and opportunities for collaboration
