HOW AND WHY 10 ENCLOSED ARTEFACTS HAVE SUPPORTED THE DEVELOPMENT OF MY EMPLOYABILITY? (500 words)
It is important for a person to identify their weaknesses and bring improvement within their current skills and knowledge as it directly help them to enhance
their employability skills and knowledge and can help them in enhancing their chances of getting selected for our ideal job. There were various kinds of
materials or artefacts that helped me in developing my employability skills. Different kinds of skills such as reading skills, researching skills, academic wiring
skills, referencing and many other kinds of important skills were developed during this module. Personal SWOT analysis helped me in analysing my current
skills and identify my strengths, weaknesses, opportunity and threats. SWOT analysis helped me in identifying skills that required to be developed and
improved by me so that I can prepare myself for my ideal job. Personal development plan helped me in identifying ways in which I can work on my current
skills and improve my skills by identifying resources required, activities that can help me in developing weak skills identified by me. PDP also helped in
evaluating time period required for development of these skills. Other than this, another artifact that helped in developing skills for my ideal job was resources
for job hunting. It helped me identifying resources that can be used by me to search for my ideal job that fits my current employability skills and knowledge. It
further helped me identifying skills that my idle job require that are required to be improved by me.
There were many other artefacts that helped me in development of my employability skills for my ideal job. This module helped me in understanding what kind
of learning and reading are important for enhancement of our own knowledge for achievement of my main targets. Talking about reading log and class notes, it
has also helped in in development of my employability skills. Reading log helped me in researching about important sources through which we can gain
required information and class notes helped me in learning things that are important for getting my ideal job. It has further helped me in understanding
importance of comparison of resources so that I can choose proper sources for learning. Most importantly it has helped me in enhancement of my
communication skills especially business vocabulary so that I can understand ways in which I should communicate in corporate world with others. It has further
helped me in understanding importance of referencing and citing. It helped helped me in understanding whenever we use some else’s work then it has to be
referenced and citied in a proper manner in order to help readers in understanding from where that content or information has been taken from. Not doing so
can be termed as plagiarism. These artefacts have directly helped me in developing and strengthening my employability skills in a proper and effective manner.

Online job search portals are an effective way of searching for a specific targetted job because of which I can
utilize the free online portals for searching for my ideal job on the basis of my till date learning because of which I
can achieve my future goals. Online portals are an effective way of modern communication because in this
travelling is limited due to which connections are established through the means of internet and because of which it
is fast and time saving. However candidate is not able to get a understanding of working environment of the
organization because of physical limitations.
