INTRODUCTION
In modern world, all organisations are facing various business problems due to
globalisation and high use of technology. All new entities are entering into market place with
some innovative ideas and products which helps them in attracting huge number of customer. To
survive in competitive marketplace, it is highly important for all organisations to manage and
control their individuals, teams and work place in most effective and systematic manner. By
doing this, they can easily improve their business performance and also can achieve competitive
advantage (Esposito, Berlin and Lal, 2012). While hiring employee, company should choose
those candidates who can lead it at high level of success and growth. Also, the one who can work
more effectively within groups. In this project report, different skills, behaviours and knowledge
has been evaluated which is required by HR professional for operating their roles and
responsibilities. Personal skills audit and professional development plan has been produced. All
those factors has been determined which should be considered while implementing and analysing
inclusive learning and development for sustainability of business performance. Contribution of
HPW in employee engagement and competitive advantages has been demonstrated. At last,
different approaches of performance management has been explained which supports high
performance culture.

P1 All the professional skills, behaviours and knowledge which is highly required by HR
manager
In every business enterprise, HR manager plays most essential role. He is only individual
who is highly responsible for managing teams and work place in most effective manner. In
simple words, all business activities, practices and work force are totally controlled by HR
professionals. He have to perform various important roles and responsibilities, for which he
requires different skills, qualities, behaviours and knowledge so that he can perform his assigned
job as per the requirements. He also have responsibility to develop employee's skills and abilities
so that they can operate business activities and practices in most effective manner that will result
in organisational growth and development (Huang, 2014). By taking help of CPD concept he can
easily enhance working efficiency and effectiveness of workers. Continuous professional
development is that approach which plays crucial role in enhancing employee's skills as well as

working capabilities. CPD can be defined as that systematic procedure which helps in identifying
and evaluating current knowledge, efficiency and effectiveness of workers. In present time,
market competition is increasing every day so, to survive in such competitive market place it is
highly important for business enterprise to enhance working performance and quality of
employees so that they can contribute more in organisational growth and success. It has become
most important task for all companies to develop their individuals, teams and work place on
continuous basis as, it provides huge benefits to enterprise which are discussed below:
ï‚· With the help of continuous professional development, organisation can easily enhance
and manage employee's skills, abilities and knowledge which can help them in
performing their given tasks and responsibilities in appropriate manner (Macdonald and
Poniatowska, 2011).
ï‚· Continuous development of workers can help them in producing high quality products
which can attract huge number of customer and also can increase customer base of
business enterprise.

market competition is increasing day by day, so it have become important for organisation to
develop their employees on continuous basis. Managers are also responsible for managing their
current skills and abilities. For identifying their existing knowledge and capabilities they can take
help of personal skills audit. HR professional plays most important role in company because they
helps it in managing its work force and provide them right direction for achieving business goals
and objectives. There are number of skills and abilities which are required by human resource
managers such as communication, Information Technology, problem solving skills and so on.
All these skills provide huge benefits to HR in different ways. With the help of IT skills he can

easily access internet which is biggest requirement of current business scenario. Smooth
communication assist him in building strong relationship with his superiors as well as

2013). Being an HR of business enterprise, it is important for me to determine my all strengths

P3 Differentiation between organisational and individual learning, training and development
Learning is that process which helps individual in improving his current knowledge,
skills and abilities on continuous basis so that he can resolve all the problems of his personal as
well as professional life. There two major concepts which are organisation and individual
learning which plays most essential role in business enterprise. Both approaches are discussed
below:
Organisation learning: According to this concept, all business enterprise should focus on its
employee's skills and abilities so that its different activities and practices can be operated in most
effective manner (Bolman and Deal, 2017). For improving current working performance of
workers, company can take help of various tools and techniques such as training and
development program etc. by conducting learning events business enterprise can helps its
employees in enhancing their working efficiency and effectiveness. Success and failure of
company totally depends upon its work force and their working performance so it is highly
important for managers to give core attention to the skills and abilities of its workers. For
improving existing performance of workers, company can encourage them to contribute more in
organisational success by producing quality products and services. This can help organisation in
increasing its customer base.
Individual learning: It is that concept which helps individual in improving his current skills and
abilities by his own. It is considered as best method for developing individuals within work
place. In this individual, learns new things and gain new knowledge by which he improves his
