INTRODUCTION
In present time, development is said to be one of the vital most element for individuals,
teams and organisations that are looking forward to become successful in near future (Carmeli,
Dutton and Hardin, 2015). In this Individual Portfolio, there are a range of elements will be
presented and these are professional knowledge, skills and behaviours and a personal skills audit
that would aid in developing a much effective professional development plan in an effective and
appropriate manner. Along with this, firm that has been taken into consideration i.e. TESCO
PLC, which is one of the famous and largest market leader within retail industry.

In present case, where I am looking forward to become Marketing Manager within the
TESCO PLC, where it is the responsibility of HR professionals of this company to find the best
and skilled personnel in order to improve the promotional approaches of TESCO PLC to attract
number of customers.

ï‚· Adaptability: Within the company like TESCO PLC, as marketing manager it will be
required by me to have this kind of skill, so that I could adopt the best possible tool or
feature to bring appropriate changes as per the requirement of firm. This is what HR
professionals of the company are looking forward to within the Marketing Manager for

ï‚· Communication skills: This is said to be one of the crucial skill, that HR professionals
of TESCO PLC, that might look for, within me at the time of applying for the post of
Marketing Manager. Basically, within this organisation (TESCO PLC), it will be the
major responsibility of my own as a Marketing Manager to delegate work/tasks as per the
requirements of customers. Effective communication skill would help me to become
