INTRODUCTION
Developing individual teams and organization is refers to as function of management that
helps in raising productivity and efficiency in desired manner (Fonseca and et.al, 2021). The
report is based on Sainsbury that is located in UK and it is a type of public organization that
provide varieties of services to customer. In this determine my professional skills, actions that

Skills required by HR professionals.
Speaking Ability : The ability of speaking in front of public or people, is an appropriate skill for
being an HR. Of-course this skill can be effective on other departments but an individual who
can make speech and presentation in front of crowd people must try human resource field.
Looking at myself I am having a good speaking ability to talk and represent my thoughts and
ideologies at a public place(Bali, 2019). This skill can move me further to be a good and
confident HR in an organization. People encourage my confidence which makes me feel good
and helps me to improve this ability at higher level.
Reading People : Reading people, is another factor for being an excellent HR manager. Many
of the people believe in increasing this skill as they will able to identify the people intention. I
am not good at analysing the people and their actions. Sometimes it creates an issue for me to
not understand the Sainsbury company employee behaviour and intention. I really need to
improve my analytical skills which will make me a good HR manager and then only I will be
able to make a company at higher position.
Backbone : Human Resource management is the backbone of a company. Being an HR
manager of Sainsbury company I realized and agree that this is most important factor. Many of

economy loss. In Sainsbury, the HR team is always available for their employee and being a
professional at HR department I personally take care of my motivation and employee as well to
build and increase the motive day by day(Mozolev, and et.al., 2019). With the knowledge and
skills I am able to handle the entire company management and provide the best result.
Active Listening and Communication Skill : Making a proper communication can help in
building a development in a company. I am always ready to communicate with people in a very
effective manner from which employee is able to talk with me in a friendly nature. I believe in
making a good relation with employee which will make a better understanding between each
other. Listening the issues, suggestion and demands actively is my responsibility and it will only
occur when an employee feels easy to communicate with me. A good communication also helps
an organization as sometimes it is possible that their suggestion will be more impressive than
mine.
Critical Thinking : A Human resource manager should have critical thinkings. I am an HR
manager at Sainsbury since 2 years and I got many opportunities to make an effective decision
for a company. Having a critical thinking makes me to work easy especially when it requires to
take an immediate action towards the company for the beneficial growth. This skill is a kind of
problem-solving factor for me because these ideologies and thoughts make to form an accurate
decision for the employee and organization as well.
Professional Development Plan.
Increase number of Employee : As being an HR manager of a company I have some qualities
and follow some strategy to make a comfortable growth of the Sainsbury. I apply the strategy
where I increase the accountability or employee. It is a normal concept that number of worker
will provide more production(Gallo, and et.al., 2019). In Sainsbury there are 117,000 of
employee working in a company, and they are the only source of improving the constructing of
the products and services. It increases my work and responsibilities for being an answerable to
authorities.
Attendances and meetings : The meetings and attendances are included in the human resource
work management. I conduct the meetings after the office hours as all employee will get free
from their work and now they can make a good conversation to the management. All the issues
or suggestion related to the attendance sheet an employee can directly come over to me if any.

Conducting the meetings will create a better understanding with each other and I also give
chance and opportunity to the employee about their thinkings and ideas regarding the work
process.
Feedbacks : On my perspective, I feel that I am doing every possible thing to make the workers
feel free and comfortable in the company surrounding but still I suggest them to contact with me
if they suffer from any obstacle(Metz, and et.al., 2018). In office hours, for once I daily meet an
individual employee at their particular places and makes a short conversation and try to take a
feedback of my work process. Getting a feedback from the employee helps me to improve my
mistakes and overcome the issues they are suffering in an organization.
Motivation : In any department, it is necessary that the employee are feeling motivated or not.
Many of the people has left the various companies for the similar issue happened in a company.
Work pattern is another reason but at some place worker feel demotivated. Being a responsible
HR manager I motivate the employee by appreciating them for their respected hard work and
rewarded them for their efforts. This is the best strategy to encourage the people or an individual
worker at a workplace. Applying this method I am successful to be a good motivator as in role
of HR manager.
Opportunities : A company can be developed at high position when the management gives their
employee an opportunity to growth. In a state of HR manager, I provide and give opportunities
to an individual employee to make a stable growth and development. Every person has a right to
glow and grow in their respected fields(Mobarakabadi, and et.al., 2019). Giving them chance to
express their abilities and skills will also help them and a company as well to achieve a
productive growth. These are some theory from which I am able to be a successful and
professional human resource manager.
