INTRODUCTION
Leadership skills are highly important as it allows a person to become a great leader in
future. Besides that, there are many leadership styles that person must be aware of. Apart from it,
management skills should be also possessed. These skills must be demonstrated so that weakness
and strength is identified (Adams, 2018).
The report will describe about existing leadership and management skills with help of a
model. Besides that, it will be discussed about plan by which leadership and management skills
can be developed.
Leadership and management styles used models
There are some models which can be used to describe reflection and experience. However,
I also used Rofle model to demonstrate my leadership and management capabilities. This
enabled me to find out what are my strength and weakness in this. Hence, it is as below :
What- With the use of this model, I can able to analyse my ability to recognise my leadership
and management abilities. Once, I became frustrated when one of player was not performing
well on pitch after giving lot of training to him (Edmonstone, 2018). After the game, I was not
able to lead and this action of mine has affected his other matches and also impacted his future
learning in greater aspect. He became demotivated and I have also realised that I did wrong to
him. With help of developing the self-awareness can assist to evaluate the managerial skills
effectively and to use them accordingly. At this stage, I experience that self-awareness is very
crucial in leadership. This is because it helps in giving right direction and take effective decision
in leading others
So what- In order to do the all things effectively in the future, I have taken the steps to be calm
at the worst situation so that I can respond to situation in better manner afterwards. This aids me
analyse things and I will be able to motivate others and show them right direction. For this, I
started to learn about leadership styles and management theories and has helped me to develop
better capabilities of management. In order to become successful sport coach, this is crucial to
have better management.
Now what- I have developed the strategies so that I can do my all act effectively in future. This
kind of actions can assist me to do the things effectively and efficiently (Karami-Akkary, and
Hammad, 2019). With the use of self-anger management, I can able to calm myself and this can
aid me to undertake the things effectively in future.

Henceforth, this can be stated this is crucial to develop management and leadership
capabilities required to better understand, empathize and negotiate with other people so that all
things can be done with better focus on need of myself. Constant striving must be needed to
improve and to meet out the standard of excellence.
Plan for leadership and management development activities
In order to improve my management and leadership capabilities I decided to develop
certain activities by which I am able to learn and gain some skills (Prasojo,. and Holidin, 2018).
Also, it will help me to overcome my weakness. Besides that, I will be able to find out how I can
become a good leader or manager. Thus, activities are described as below :
Honey and mumford style questionnaire- It is an activity in which I will develop a questionnaire
by which I will be able to answer different questions. In this I will make some points in it and
then tick marks against that which I think right for me. Therefore, it will give insight to me in
which area I am lacking and what point I need to develop. Alongside, in this activity I will be
able to find out my strengths. I will get aware of many points and areas in it (Pratikna,. and
Gamayanto, 2017).
leadership trial questionnaire - here, in this activity I will develop a questionnaire and then
gather data from 4-5 people. The questionnaire will include likert scale on which people will
give answer to question. Furthermore, the questionnaire will help me to analyse and evaluate my
leadership traits and which one I possess and lack. Thus, I will be able to focus on it and then
make plan to develop those traits. It will be very easy for me to analyse data collected from
questionnaire. It will show that what leadership traits most I possess. Besides that, what type of
leader I can be in future. Review leadership experience- With help of this activity I will be able
to review my past leadership experience. By that it will be easy for me to find out what decisions
I took, how I was able to lead, did I acted like a leader, etc. thus, I will get to know what I did
differently, how, what was my emotions, etc. So, I will review overall experience and then find
out my leadership capabilities (Till, McKimm, and Swanwick, 2020).
CONCLUSION
Hereby, it can be summarised that I effectively possessed some leadership capability. Also,
there are certain management capabilities as well which I showed. In this Rofle model of
reflection was used. It evaluated that I did not possess capability of manager and leader. Besides
that, there were several activities which I planned to develop management capability. For
