Reflection on leadership and management capabilities
Leadership skills are refers to the skill which is used in the organization in order to
organize the people and make them to achieve the organizational goal. This project will
outline the leadership and management capabilities and the personal development plan for
the weaknesses (Karagianni and Jude Montgomery, 2018). The capabilities and skis will be
outlined by using the academic and theoretical models.
When the organization is managing the leading the position the leaders must have the
leadership skills in order to manage the work in the organization. These skills help the leaders
in order to achieve the objectives of the organization. Reflective leadership is the leadership
of the person which used to describe the qualities of the leaders (Sousa and Rocha, 2019). It
is used to approach the work of the leader’s by leading with the team members. According to
my personal journey of the leadership I have the good leadership qualities in order to make
myself self-aware and self-challenging person. I have reflected that my leadership skills are
good and I can lead my team effectively. In this I have identified my personal strengths and
weaknesses which help me to grow my skills in the future. Beside this I have also reflected
on the management style and skills which helps me to manage my work and makes me to do
work on time.
Leadership and the management skills are both the important skills that the person
should have if they are working the organization. This all used to serve the self-knowledge,
alignments, productivity and discipline in the organization (Bay, 2020). By this I have
increased my knowledge and this aloes makes to be having the discipline in order to do any
work. As earlier I was unable to manage my work but from the management skills I have able
to manage my work before the deadlines. As my weakness was I was not good in
communicating with the people and I have the lack of emotional intelligence. This makes my
leadership quality somehow worst as the leaders are required to have the proper
communication with the staff in the organization. By using the leadership theory that is
behavioural theory that means the person must focus on the personal behaviours and actions
rather than traits nod characteristics. This theory says that in order to the effective leaders the
leader’s must learned the skills. The leaders need to learn the three primary skills that are
technical skills, human skills mad the conceptual skills (Schad and Smith, 2019). Technical
skills are the skills which used to increase the knowledge process and techniques of the
person. A human skill means that how to interact with the people nod the conceptual skills
defines that how to come up with the new mad innovative ideas while doing the work.
Management capabilities are the capabilities of the person in which the leaders used
to construct, integrate and reconfigure the resources of the organization and competences of
the organization. There are different types of capabilities that are essential capabilities,
strategic support, business necessity capabilities, and the advantage capabilities. These all
capabilities are required in the management of the organization (Guzmán and et.al., 2020). I

team performance approach capability (Leal and et.al., 2018). As the primary purpose of this
is to provide the timely delivery of the goods and services in order to meet the needs and
wants of the customers. This makes me to makes the plans, integrates those plans, develops
the plans and makes them to check those plans have work according to the targeted
objectives. This makes me to manage my responsibilities as I was very weak in order to
manage my work. I used to have the control from the starting the plan to the plan ends which
makes me more focused towards my work. This creates my ability in order to maintain my
schedule and makes me efficient in my work. As I am very enthusiastic, energetic mad have
the positive attitude which makes my leadership skills and the management skills best. By
using the human relation theory of the management it makes me to be more focused and
maintain the good relations with other members. As by paying attention on my work and on
the other members it makes me to grow in my work.
