INTRODUCTION
Leadership and management skills are important in the business organization trough the
academic and theoretical models. The leadership skills are require in the managers for manage
the team and organization to achieve the business success in the competitive market place. This
report will discuss the management and leadership skills capabilities in the academic and
theoretical model and plan for management and leadership activities for the individual and
members of team as well as personal developments activities.
TASK
Leadership and management capabilities in academic and theoretical models:
The leadership skills and management skills are used for the interchangeably but they both
are not the same. The leadership are requiring on the management context. I have the existing
leadership and management skills capabilities are include that vision, self leadership, motivating
and inspiring the others, creativity and innovation and empowering (Santos, 2021). I also have
the management skills such as communication skill, interpersonal, delegation, problem solving,
strategic thinking skills which are required in the skills of the management within the
organization. The management is the abilities which include the things such as the planning of
the business, problem solving, decision making and delegate the power to the another person and
know how to communicate with the others. The leadership skills are also referring as the abilities
and strengths the individuals and help as well as overseas the employees and guide them towards
the achievements of the objectives and goals. Leadership skills are include inspire,
communication effectively as well as delegate the powers in the employees and motivate them
for accomplish the works (Haddad, 2020).
I apply the leadership and management theoretical models in the business organizations as
the manger and leader use the behavioural and competency frameworks because it helps in shifts
the traits as well as qualities of the leadership to their actions and behaviours. The behavioural
leadership theory is most important in the business to manage the business. It also helps in the
effective learning and acquired the skills effectively. The behavioural skills within the
organization are important between the employees, managers, and teams that help in sustain the
cooperation and coordination in the business (Zeike and Bradbury, 2019). This theory is also
helps the individual to become the great leader and it is the best leadership theory.

Plan a leadership and management developmental activities
The leadership development is referring as the process of improving the skills of leadership
and competencies with the help of various activities in the members of the team and individuals.
I will plan and develop the valuable leadership skills in the staff and employees and that helps in
allow them to guide, inspire and lead their team to become the success. The developments of
leadership activities in the individual are helps in become the successful person in the future
(Karagianni and Jude, 2018). I develop my leadership skills through the training and a
mentorship program which helps in accomplish targets ad goals such as conference, training
seminars, graduate programs and online trainings, etc. that all are helps in the organization and
teamwork to develop the strategies of the objectives. The leadership development activities helps
me to achieve the better result for the business and changes the innovation ideas and improve the
engagement of the employees with the help of interaction and communication.
I will also develop and plan about my management skills which are helps in manage and
coordinate the team work and themselves within the business which helps me to make the
decision with the confidence, cultivate the self awareness as the managers, build the trust with
the employees and organization, become a better communicators as well as completing the
management trainings which helps in become the successful managers in the organization and
manage the team effectively with the cooperation and coordination without any conflicts (Bean,
2021). It will also help in sustain in the competitive market place with the helps management and
leadership skills which are essential at the business organization. It also helps in improve the
higher performance of the employees and peers in the workplace and training and developments
helps in create the competitive environments at the workplace.
Personal development activities
The personal development activities are elaborate with the help of the SWOT analysis that
are including the strength, weaknesses, threats and opportunities (Sousa and Rocha, 2019).
Strength: my strengths in the management
and leadership including the various skills such
as good communication, self awareness’s,
inspire and motivation, critical thinking and
problem solving. The all skills helps me to
achieve the accomplish goals within the
Weaknesses: I am not proving the enough
feedback to the staff with the lack of the time
management. I have a big weakness that I
don’t trust the employees and members of the
team. I also getting stuck in the familiar
patterns and that all are my weaknesses in the

business organization. I have an option to learn
and develop with the help of training and

As the conclusion, the skills of the management and leaderships are important in the
thriving of working environments. The developments of the leadership and management skills
are helps in enhance the capabilities and abilities of individual and members of the team to
become the success in the competitive workplace. This report is discussed the leadership and
management skills capabilities I the academic and theoretical models as well as plan and develop
the management and leadership activities. This report also elaborated the personal development
activities with the help of strength, weakness, threats and opportunities.
