2.1 Assess own management skills performance
Presently, I am working as General manager in Dorchester Luxury hotel
in London. I am responsible for managing both the profit and cost
components of a organization income statement. It have to overlook all
the business function along with routine operations of hotel.
Further, I am responsible for proper planning, delegation, coordination,
staffing, organizing and decision making to acquire desirable revenue
making outcomes for the entity. My main concern is to support my
organization in attaining strategic aims and objectives(Ford, 2014).
I have to check proper coordination and harmonise functions of different
department. Being a general manager I have key responsibility of the
successful execution of the strategic plan. I am also required to maintain
positive work environment, it is my duty to resolve the complaints and

There are various skills that are required for me to work successfully as
