INTRODUCTION
Developing manager play important role in taking care that organisation activities are
being taking place properly. Planning, staffing, organising, controlling are various activities
which are performed by superior. They take care that staff members are having adequate skills
and knowledge in according to duties that they are required to perform. Training and
development are program through which management is able to enhance abilities of employees;
so that they carry out tasks effectively and complete them within specified time limit. Present
report is based on J.W. Marriott which are operating their business in hospitality sector. They
provide quality services to customers, through which they are able to improve their profitability
by improving their image and goodwill in market (Billings and Halstead, 2015). Their manager
keep motivating and dedicating employees, so that they deliver quality service and attain targets
properly.

1.1 Compare two styles of management which are used for JW Marriott Autocratic style: In such working style, superiors do not take suggestions and ideas of
their subordinates. They are having a characteristics where managers are responsible for
decisions, boss having a most control and authority of making a decisions for utilizing
delegation and doesn't consult from their workers. Having a sole responsibility of
superiors, managers and leaders for decisions making without bothering much about
employees (Smith and Dodds, 2017).
Advantages: In this style of leadership, organisation can have a quick decisions, total control,
work process is streamlined, easy to learn etc.
