concentrate on improving them with the help of adopting effective strategies (Lin, and
Magnuson, 2018). It helps me to improve my overall personality and perform determined work

Observe others and maintain network: It is important to watch and learn from the people who
inspires the most help in attaining the objective of personal learning and development. I have
preferred to meet or interact with various type of people to learn new ideas as well as lean how to
communicate and work with different types of people. It enhances various skills in my
personality such as communication skill, networking skill and others that help in performing
personal and professional work with greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Ask for feedback: It is considered as most effective approach for personal learning and
development. Ask mentor, teacher and colleagues for feedback in recent project or
accomplishment. It is important to use their positive comments as well as constructive criticism
for improving overall personality. I always ask for feedbacks to improve my work. It is
important that feedbacks should be unbiased and provide different perspectives.
Learn something new: For improving personal learning and development, it is important to
learn on new skills or topics. It enhances different skills and capabilities in personality that help
to perform diversify work and attain determined goals in desirable manner (Steinert, O’Sullivan,
and Irby, 2019). I have taken personality development classes and use different websites for
getting new knowledge in order to performing specific work or task.
All these approaches are adopted for personal learning and development that help in attaining
personal and professional goals in specific period of time.
Transferable skills
There are various skills, competencies and capabilities are developed or learnt during the
academic studies, personal life and work place that helps an individual to perform their task on
time with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Problem-solving skill: Problem-solving skill helps to identify effective solution for resolving
specific problems to attain desirable goals of project. I have developed problem solving skill in
my academic sessions that enables me to identifying cause of problem and implement effective
solutions to resolve it. During completing projects in my academics, I have faced various
challenges and problems that enhances effective problem-solving skill in my personality and
enables me to perform with effectiveness even in difficult situations.
Communication skill: Communication skills is another transferrable skill that help to
communicate own ideas, information and data to others in concise and understandable way. It
also helps in understanding others point of view and perspective in appropriate manner. Effective
communication is required in both personal as well as professional life to maintain mutual
understanding (Rossiter, and Gardiner, 2019). I have leant how to communicate with others in
systematic manner at workplace that enables me to perform defined task with efficiency in
desirable way.
Teamwork: Teamwork is related to working with various members in order to attain common
goals and objectives. In my professional life, various assignments and tasks are provided to me

in group that enhances teamwork skill in my personality that taught me how to perform and
coordinate in team to reach desirable goals. Development of this skill helps me to organise my
work, communicate with others and maintain coordination.
Creativity skill: Creative skill is defined as the skill that helps to perform specific task in
creative way to differentiate own work from others. In my academics, I have completed my work
with greater creativity and uniqueness that differentiated my work from others and provides me
competitive advantages over others (Herbert, and et. Al.,2020). This skill helps me in my
professional life to perform my work in most innovate and creative way in order to attain
determined goals and objectives in specific time frame.
Computer skill: Computer skill is defined as technical skill that enables me to perform defined
operations with using computer. There are various assignment or projects are assigned in
academic life that need to be done with the help of computer that enhances my knowledge and
understanding regarding the computer and its related functions such as power point, excel, work
and others. It helps me in my professional life as well because now theses all business-related
functions are managed with the help of computer.
All these are transferrable skills that helps an individual to perform their personal and
professional goals and objectives in best possible manner. It is important to develop these skills
in order to improve own personality.
