INTRODUCTION
Preparation is necessary as the planning or many be more. It gets a person ready to
actually do work. In this report, going to discuss about the information get during the course.
This will examine the skills which needed to be successful in course and the university. There
will be discussion about the biggest obstacles of the university life in future (Burgess and Ernst,
2020).
MAIN BODY
There are many topics I studied in my course at University. Teacher taught me the
various styles of learning. The learning styles taught by my teacher are visual learners, auditory
learners and the writing learners. These all are different from the each other. The visual learners
are those which mainly prefer the learning through observing the things. Using images, pictures
and the diagrams help these all the learners to understand the information in a better manner.
Through this, students can visualise the information, have better direction sense and doodle. For
the auditory learners, music and sound are strong suit for these kind of the learners which have
better rhythm sense. These are mainly the singers which are familiar with the various instruments
and the sound which make. The writing learners prefer to be learn by the written words. There is
some of the overlap with the visual learning, they mainly drawn to expression by the writing and
reading the books ( Davis, Mountjoy and Palmer, 2016). As I am a visual learner because I prefer
to looking the things to understand the information than listening. My main focus on notice the
small details and understand in a detailed manner. On the other hand, I also studied that I have
been teaching the importance of the communication. The better communication is necessary for
the future career. I taught that communication is necessary for make the better interaction with
the other persons. Being able to be communicate in an effective manner is perhaps necessary of
necessary of life skills. This enable to pass the information to the other people and understand to
each other. It is one of the effective process of understanding as well as sharing meaning. The
communication is necessary for my future career. Developing the communication skills can
assist several aspects of my life from professional career to the social gatherings. I rely heavily
on sharing the information, resulting in the high emphasis which placed having better
communication skills. The communication is necessary for future career. It is necessary for me to
make improvement in my communication skills. For this, I have to engage audience in the

discussion. Through improving my communication skill, I can confidently speaking in front of
any person or the large group. As I want to work as a human resource manager in future so this
skill will help me to communicate with the employees. Actively improving the communication
skill plays a necessary role in process of the career progression and also personal development. I
can able to communicate my message in clear manner and also find the people willing to tell
information which they want to tell (Ferguson, 2018). In regards to this, ability to be
communicate with the colleagues, managers and clients is necessary no matter which sector I
will be worked. Better communication is helpful for the teams, motivate high performance and
also increase workplace culture (Nijagal, Shah and Levin-Scherz, 2018).
I also learned about the reading styles in the lesson. It is necessary to make improvement
in the reading styles as it is more effective in reading the different things. It will help me in study
for the exams and tests but improves the writing skills also. Reading in a better manner permits
to spend the minimum time to figuring out words and enhance the concentration also. I studied
about the different styles of reading such as skimming, scanning and in- depth reading. In
skimming type of the reading, it is necessary to determine main idea of material. This gives the
wider overview about contained in material. This reading style is useful for choosing the relevant
material. It helps in saving time not spending more in reading. It is suitable when more material
has to be read in limited time amount (Gueldner, Feuerborn and Merrell, 2020). On the other
hand, scanning is fast reading style under which reader mainly examined text to look for
particular information. This kind of reading style is done for finding for information by list of the
address, numbers and the supplies for particular one. It is also the time saving as in this there is
need to see words on page not read. Some of the people do not choose scanning as reading
technique but search technique. As per my preference, I look upon the scanning reading style as
in this there will be requirement to check the specific information. It will be time saving and very
quick. It will be helpful for me in the course in University and also in my chosen profession
career in the future (Lipson, 2019).
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from the above mention report that skills and abilities are necessary
to do the something new. Improving skills are helpful to an individual to perform the task and
activities in significant manner. There has been discussion about the different skills as as
learning, communication and reading. These all are helpful in the professional career to an

individual in the future context. There has been studied about the ways to make improvement in
the skills and to be successful in the career.
