Development manager plays an important role in every big business. They serve as the point of
contact for customer , upper management and customers. They work like project manager and
delegate the task to complete initiative of company(Bones, 2018).The main aim of the report is
to analyse the change that was exist in development manager profession and in manufacturing
industry and find out the factors due to which changes occur. The industry that was select in this
report is manufacturing industry and the profession is development manager in manufacturing

profession was Development manager. Manufacturing industry is the backbone of countries
economy. And development manager is the person who take initiate steps regarding product
manufacturing (Chinn, 2017). The changes that is prevail in this industry are
Globalisation:It is the word that was used to describe the process of interaction and
integration among different companies, people and government, economies, population,
cultures,flow of people, information and technology (Fuller, 2016).Due to trade development and
financial exchanges, globalisation consider as an economic and financial phenomenon. It
includes much wider field that just flowing of capital, goods and service. Globalisation make
impact on decision making process of development managers who are responsible for making
complex interrelated decision.The main element is multiple intelligence development managers
require to address the problems will be solve by taking global decision. The global orientation to
decision ,making is poised as different from dision process use by development manager. Some
of the examples of globalization are:
