understanding for the purpose of career development. Professional development means

vocational education & training, development programmes such as IT training, accountancy and
budgeting, legal knowledge, etc. It can be acquired through various manners which are
classroom learning, online tutorials, coaching & mentoring, etc. Skills needed for PPD include
maintaining a balance between work and life, meditations and exercises, not to waste much time
on activities, making resolutions, managing time, etc.
Discussing value of short-term goals with 3 examples
Short term goals are the means through which a person can achieve his long term goals.
These goals help in analysing how far a person has come and how long it will take to achieve the
ultimate goal. Short term goals assist in reminding the purpose of all the hard work and keeps
you motivated and focused (Freund and Tomasik, 2021). Generally, such goals are set to be
achieved within one year or may be less than that.
Examples of Short term goals: Maintaining work-life balance: A person can set this goal by giving time to his family

Putting an end to procrastination: This goal can be achieved by committing to a task

Good Physique: A person can also make a goal to maintain body weight by having
balanced diet or going vegan.
