Early tourism started with Nomads who travelled around the world in search of

Scorcu and Vici, 2015). 1500 BC is marked as the era when the Europeans visited pyramids and thus developed the tourism for pilgrimage. Early

Travel and tourism is an activity wherein the people are engaged in exploring the world out so as to
enhance the economy by continuous spending in these activities.
16th Century
Travel and tourism came into force in the end of
16th century wherein people were engaged in
moving from one community to another such as the
rural area in search of food or shelter. This has
given rouse to wide range of movement to even the
coastal areas. Furthermore, in the industrialization
period, workers were regarded to work for in suit
while the elite class involved themselves in travel
and tourism activities (Mahrous and Hassan, 2016).

Mid 20th Century
In between the enlisted period, every department of the travel and tourism sector was engaged in making money rather than providing services.
They operated in different direction so as to provide quantity of services (Molz, 2012). In addition to the above, railways were engaged in providing
seats, hotels were involved in offering beds or rooms, travel agents rendered packages.
21st Century
With the modernization and globalization of the economy, more and more person were
involved in deriving travel and tourism services. The airlines and railway firms
provided full packages to the passengers including medical, room division, transport,
entertainment and other leisure activities. Thereafter, travel agents came in form and
engaged themselves in creating such packages for the benefit of the people.
Technology-In international tourism expanded due to the development in the jet aircraft
and the computer technology. The development of computer brought reservation
systems which is used today by travel agencies so that they can direct contact with
airline (Kaur, Chauhan and Medury, 2016).
18th Century
With the increased operations of business and
with the developing economy, more and more
entrepreneurs were active passengers. In
regards to crack deals and make money,
people were participating as well as increasing
the share of travel and tourism sector by
participating in more voyages.
