DHS Gap Management Project: Career Goals, Skills and Technology

ASSIGNMENT

I would like to be a part of DHS through Gap management. I am keen to work under the
Australian Government to use my knowledge into valuable changes for the betterment of the
society on the whole. I want to provide my assistance to bring concrete changes through
employing my industrial experience in practical manner. This services laid a platform of wide
array of health related concepts and is working under a legislative framework and herein, I want
to deliver the best in these services. I would like to use the opportunities to develop strategic
integrated system which is based on a policy leadership on whole-of-government. Here, the
highlighted aspects are the security aspects with respect to shared information, implementation
of safe communication technology and digital service delivery.
Additionally, I would like to draw the attention that I am a proud citizen of Australia,
who is passionate about studying the various facets of digital technology. I am an engineering
graduate with diverse skills and am result-oriented in terms of new challenges. Personally, I am
highly motivated individual with problem solving approach, concentrate on giving solutions and
remain positive under pressure.. Since early, I have always been fascinated about disintegrating
and re-arranging PCs, setting up networks and building apps, Thus, I want to serve my
countrymen and especially the children so that we can build out nation’s future together in small
but proficient manner.
Furthermore, I have acquired great IT skills and technical expertise in the following
areas:
 Operating Systems: Windows 98, 2000/NT/XP/7
 MS Office: Word, Excel and Power Point
 Languages: Basic understanding of Core Java
 Databases: Basic understanding of Oracle and SQL Server
 Testing Tool: Bugzilla
By joining this program, I can become more competent including my technical skills with
the zest to incorporate analytics to digital design for overall development. This is one of those
opportunities which are relevant for my career in the most profound order. I have the conviction
that I would be able to earn a relevant qualification, under the guidance by experienced
professionals while learning and working with a wide range of technologies simultaneously.
Moreover, I feel that this training would lay the foundation of my networking and give me

podium to shine in a professional setup through attending events, getting access to private
training about emerging digital trends etc.
Lastly, I would like to shed light on this community-centric approach that brings a mix of
executing vocational training, using technologies in a government framework to reach wider
areas. Lastly, I am a challenger-seeker who sees profiles like Programmer, Quality Assurance,
Network Engineer, Application Support, Project management or any such role very challenging.
Therefore, I would be glad to develop my skills in a systematic architecture of using
sophisticated procurement approaches, agile delivery methodologies, user-centred research and
design with a focus on designing and building technology.
