Diabetes Type 2 can be described as a chronic condition that affects way of human body
metabolizes sugar (glucose) which is considered as an important source of fuel in body. In this
situation, the body either resists the effects of insulin that is a hormone which functions as
regulating the movement of sugar into the cells. However, it can create a condition in which
insufficient secretion of insulin take place in terms of maintaining normal glucose levels
(Chatterjee, Khunti and Davies, 2017). In context of Diabetes Type 2, several physiological
changes occur including hyperglycaemia and resulting from the combination of resistance to
insulin action, inadequate insulin production and an excessive or inappropriate glucagon
secretion.
However, diabetes Type 2 disease includes the main problem of insufficient secretion of
insulin by pancreases to meet actual needs of body. In addition to this, it also consist deficiency
of Beta cell coupled with peripheral insulin resistance (Wu and et. al., 2016). Moreover, the
diabetes Type 2 impacts negatively on blood pressure, blood glucose levels including HbA1c,
cholesterol & triglycerides, kidney functions, eyes, feet and teeth & gums. This health problem is
responsible for affecting physiology of other organs of body which results into various
symptoms through it can be determined.
Meanwhile, it consist increased thirst, frequent urination, increased hunger, unintended
weight loss, fatigue, slow healing sores, frequent infections and areas of darkened skin generally
in armpits & neck (Jaacks and et. al., 2016). Furthermore, the Diabetes Type 2 is basically
effects the body in terms of high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels and lack of blood
glucose level which results into symptoms like fatigue, blurred vision, tingling or pain hands or
legs etc.
