The Use of CAM in Women with Type 2 Diabetes: A Systematic Review

This project presents a systematic review analyzing the utilization of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) among women diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in Southeast Asia. The research aims to identify the benefits of CAM, compare its effectiveness with conventional treatments, and address challenges associated with standard medical approaches. The methodology involves a narrative synthesis of secondary data from articles and journals, with ethical considerations ensuring privacy and data security. The study's anticipated output includes increased knowledge, academic contributions, and potential improvements in the well-being and lifestyles of women in Malaysia. The project's timeline spans several months, encompassing topic selection, data analysis, and publication of findings, with the goal of providing recommendations for a suitable strategy for administering CAM in treating Type 2 diabetes. The review also seeks to raise awareness on how to prevent the risk of type 2 diabetes.
