Introduction
The technology is one of the factors that is impacting the business activities. This is one of
the external element in the market which is needed to be understood and managed effectively
by the company. At the present time, the technology is getting advanced which is helping the
organisation to make their work get done in the best possible way. At the current time
competition in the market have raised to a very high level which is influencing the company
as well as its operations. It has become very necessary for the companies to use the effective
and appropriate tools through which it can be able to get developed and can meet the
necessities of the market. Diageo is a beverage organisation which is performing its
operations in the UK market. the company has introduced various new and innovative things
and also it is using the technology to enhance its productivity and profitability. In this project
report, the research will get done in a proper and detailed manner. The impact and influence
of technology and the transformation that took place in the functional areas of business will
be understood. The project schedule and plans will be made to process the work in a direct
and right manner.

Topic: How digital technology has transformed business activities, e.g. operations,
marketing, accounting, and HR.
Background
At the present time that are various things that can be considered by the company which will
help it to grow and to attracts a large number of customers towards its services. The
technology is one of the elements which is playing the vital part in the growth and
enhancement if the company’s performance. The company has various benefits and
advantages that it could use for its development and growth in the competitive market. There
is numerous opportunity that company can attain with the help of digitalisation (Daim, et. al.,
2012). The workload and hectic situation of the working has also been decreased by the
effective use of the technology. Diageo company is able to enhance itself and has also been
able to draw the attention of several people in society.
The aim of the study
The major concern of the study is to understand the transformation that gets done with the
help of digitalisation.
Objective
 To evaluate the need and requirement of digital technology at the present time in the
market.
 To identify the changes that took place in the Diageo company.
 To determine the link and bond between the digital technologies and transformation

is the vital source of the business and is also
very limited. The cost of the project has to
be very effective and reliable so that the
proper management can be done along with
that the firm could be able to arrange all the
required things for the project as per the set
and available budget (Jaime, et. al., 2016).
The budget that is bee set for this project is
£ 6500. The cost has to be managed then
only the effectiveness of the working o
project can be obtained.
Scope The project that will be executed by the
company has to be very effective so that it
can be able to assist the firm and to retain
for the long-time period. This is an essential
part of the project as this will be providing
the worth of the activity. The scope of the

The work breakdown structure is the method or the technique which is used to divide the
work into different parts so that they can be able to carry out the work in the appropriate and
required way. This is very necessary as with its assistance the company will be able to
