of Charles Dickens. Management is the
foremost function for any individual,
organisation or institution. It has universal
presence to carry out all the work in a
systematic and desirable way. Charles
Dickens was the famous English writer and
poet who is known for his great novels and
short stories.

Life Background
Charles Dickens was born on 7 February 1812 in Hampshire, London. He is the son of Elizabeth and
John Dickens. He died in on June 9, 1870 at the age of 58. His life was full of terrible and
consequences due to father’s imprison and frequent moving of house which has affected on his
education at the age of 15. He was passionate about writing and observing people and society on
which, he presented own thoughts and assumption for better solution and management techniques that
could create a positive world. He was known as the famous writer who wrote hundreds of short
stories, novels and articles which are read by millions of people. He worked hard and presented his
thoughts, knowledge and ideas through novels and critics which gave him the title of genius in 20th
century.

Career Background
Charles Dickens was started his first step towards his
career in 1836 when his novels and books started
publishing across the world. He had good observation
critics and thought procedure which reflect in his novels
and people are entertained with his humour that makes the
stories and critics interesting. The main attraction of his
novel was the social reforms and believes in right policy
which he always supported through ideas and critics. It
took the attention of every age group whether teenagers,
children or adults.

Personal attitude and behaviour
Charles Dickens had positive attitude towards his career as he was not only wrote books for his passion or
gaining popularity rather, he works to support the society and eliminate any negative behaviours and
practices which creates a discrimination towards rich and poor. It can say that, he had social integrity and
concern towards people and their rights. which he presented as irony in his novels which become the major
attraction for the people who love to read his books. He is one of the author who gained much popularity
rather than other ones. He is a kind of sophisticated yet simple personality who does not believe in
