capability and also creates impact on where they work. So it is become responsibility of the
software organisation to notice these kinds of things and work on it effectively. We're just a few
months into this new working reality, and we're already seeing clear evidence of software firms
changing critical aspects of their services, such as design, customer support, and functionality, all
with the goal of addressing demands that many company customers may not even be aware of.
As the bulk of information workers began working from home, volume became increasingly
significant. Several prominent commercial software as a service (SaaS) apps, such as Zoom,
Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, were forced to deal with severe traffic surges very quickly.
Reduced staffing and operations on site and at the sites of their licensees, such as nuclear power
plants, hospitals, and radiation facilities, helped regulators maintain business continuity. They

swiftly put in place preventative measures for employees, including social isolation, personal
hygiene measures, masks, temperature monitoring, and quarantine following business travel
(Baker and Saren, 2016). The rapid influx of users has pushed many apps to their limits,
exposing some of their vulnerabilities and security issues, and forcing them to develop in order

designed. Collaboration tools, for example, have evolved from being useful but not crucial

organisations and individuals are now utilising those offers a fascinating tale about how rapidly
software can adapt when it is required.
