swiftly put in place preventative measures for employees, including social isolation, personal
hygiene measures, masks, temperature monitoring, and quarantine following business travel
(Baker and Saren, 2016). The rapid influx of users has pushed many apps to their limits,
exposing some of their vulnerabilities and security issues, and forcing them to develop in order
to accommodate use situations that could not have been anticipated when they were first
designed. Collaboration tools, for example, have evolved from being useful but not crucial
components of an office software portfolio to becoming critical to not only significant business
operations but also employees' social life and mental health. All of these technologies were
developed before to the epidemic, but their rapid acceptance and the many ways in which
organisations and individuals are now utilising those offers a fascinating tale about how rapidly
software can adapt when it is required.
RemoteHQ - It's been about 30 years since screen sharing technology was invented.
While most systems allow one person to show and share what is on their screen in real
time, just a handful can handle many people collaborating in the same way, especially in
a lag-free setting. The collaborative product Remote HQ is built on the concept of a
"shared browser," which is gratis for one room and five simultaneous contributors.
Because the product was constructed and developed by a dispersed team working from
multiple locations and time zones, its collaborative feature was actually tested and
changed as it was built. Due to remote HQ, team members are list become simple and
more productive (Birgani, and Yazdandoost, 2018). It is the process which allowed the
individuals to work together naturally and achieve their goals and objectives in an
appropriate manner. In the same way, they would in a real office by combining multiple
collaboration software into workplaces.
Sketch board - Sketch board is an online whiteboard that allows dispersed teams to
collaborate in real time. It costs $8 per month for one user. Consider it an online version
of conference room's limitless virtual whiteboard. Sketch board is a useful tool for
collaborative visualisation, allowing team members to simultaneously visualise abstract
thoughts and diagrams on virtual paper( IDI, 2018). These features provide it a wide
range of prospective customers in areas including software and website creation, project
management, and production intelligence, as well as additional common teamwork and
online education (Vivares, Sarache and Hurtado, 2018). There has been a threefold

increase in adoption since COVID. "It's obvious that consumers and businesses want
collaborative tools," Tanabe added.
For all online enterprises, IT infrastructure is critical. Many organisations have been using
CloudStorage and Cloud computing services
Cloud computing, which includes cloud backup, software as a service (SaaS), desktop as
a service (DaaS), and the best cloud storage for small businesses, is becoming increasingly
popular. It's an understandable trend: cloud computing has several advantages, ranging from
financial to logistical and operational (Arpaci, 2017). Cloud computing refers to technical,
computational, and professional services delivered to organisations above the internet. Cloud
computing is currently used by a significant number of organisations, with platforms such as
Amazon Web Services, Microsoft 365, and IBM Cloud powering innumerable products and
services throughout the world, as well as others providing cloud storage for small businesses and
big corporations. Numerous cloud forces that isobtainable to help business run more efficiently.
For example, UCaas providers may assist organisations in creating simplified, efficient, and cost-
effective workflows inside and across departments (Eling, Gelper and Langerak, 2018).
Cloud storage is a kind of model of computer data storage in which the organisation is
storing the digital data in context of logical pools. The cloud storage has several kind of service
and they have physical environment which is managed by the hosting Organisation in order to
collect and store their data in an appropriate manner. In another term, Cloud storage is a cloud
computing paradigm in which the information is stored on the digital platform by a cloud
computing provider that maintains and runs and data storage as a kind of services. It also help the
individual to save their money by eliminating the need to acquire and manage their own data
storage infrastructure so it is very beneficial for the organisation to adopt and followed it in order
to save their money (Jiang and Guo, 2017). Year after year, the limits of traditional IT
infrastructure have been increasingly evident since the introduction of cloud computing. Many
organisations are having difficulty adapting to market shifts and new trends because their
technology environments are inefficient in sensing and responding to these.

Advantage and disadvantage
The description about the advantages and disadvantages are as follows –
Because the cloud is highly scalable, businesses may add or withdraw resources as
needed. As businesses expand, their systems will expand as well, Recovery in a timely
manner. Cloud computing allows users to get apps and data more quickly and accurately.
It is the most efficient recovery method since it requires minimal downtime.
In cloud computing the server provided update their software on a regular basis that
enhance security upgrade so that they do not have to waste their time on the system
maintenance. Along with this they provide effective time so that the individuals have
more time to concentrate on essential issues such as how to get success and grow their
business.
Organizations may use cloud computing to decrease their carbon impact. Organizations
only use the resources they require, avoiding unnecessary over-provisioning. As a result,
no materials or energy are wasted.
Cloud apps facilitate cooperation by allowing different groups of people to digitally
interact and exchange information via shared storage (Toomey, Matthews, Guerin and
Hurley, 2016). This capacity aids in the enhancement of customer service and product
development, as well as the reduction of marketing time.
Cloud computing disadvantages, such as its lack of security, might result in data leakage
to the public. If an issue arises with cloud computing, law firms may suffer financial
damages. This is because legal firm cloud computing poses a security concern and the
flexibility of work will impede law company performance.
Many internet businesses have witnessed a big increase in sales during the current epidemic,
whereas many traditional businesses have suffered a significant drop.
The COVID-19 epidemic is causing a surge in demand for some items, as well as causing
supply chain disruptions due to transit restrictions and business closures. Due to covid-19
pandemic the organisation is facing several kinds of problems and threats in context of security
and safety of the company and these all challenges and problems are mentioned below:-

Enhanced threat to enterprise system and data
According to the investigation it has been analysed that it has been increased the threat
of system and data of the organisation (Lau, and Chung, 2019).
Due to covid-19 pandemic cyber security complaints increased day by day and according
to the investigation it has been analysed that covid-19 pandemic increase the cyber threat which
become critical and imminent for the organisation. As the COVID-19 epidemic continues to
wreak havoc on the healthcare system, the global economy, and the well-being of all people, it is
also having a significant impact on corporate and individual cyber security. As one might
imagine, hackers are devising new methods to profit off the pandemic's rising levels of worry
and dread. Phishing and other social engineering tactics have long been used by cybercriminals
to mislead individuals into handing over sensitive information such as login credentials and
credit card numbers. Despite the fact that most businesses are improving their email security to
prevent phishing attempts, hackers are taking advantage of the pandemic panic to manipulate
people's minds. Furthermore, because email phishing is a cost-effective, high-reward, and low-
investment technique for hackers to obtain credentials, it's past time for businesses to guarantee
that their staff are aware of phishing email strategies and know how to distinguish between false
and legitimate emails.
The move from in-office to work-from-home on an organisational level is the second
pillar of cyber security concerns throughout the crisis. Organizations must adopt the proper
technical solutions to assure not just peak levels of productivity but also cyber security when
working from home, in addition to increasing awareness of phishing and social engineering
schemes. Patching high-priority systems like virtual private networks (VPNs), end-point
protection, and cloud interfaces, which are critical for remote employees, as quickly as possible
can help businesses eliminate vulnerabilities. Patches that protect the remote working
environment should be prioritised (Sun, Su and Yang, 2016).
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic posed a variety of new challenges to governments and
their nuclear and associated operations. Lockdowns were imposed in most nations in March,
with borders blocked and only necessary employees permitted to travel and operate on site, while
others worked remotely when feasible.

Steps which are taken by the companies in order to address the challenges
The explanations about the steps that are taken by the companies are as follows -
To guarantee business continuity, firms must move quickly to mitigate any negative
effects while also preparing for future developments that may occur as a result of the
COVID-19 outbreak. Organizations may seek to form a core crisis team to coordinate
response activities and identify objectives in order to centralise all efforts.
During this difficult period, the safety of our personnel is critical. Depending on the sort
of work they perform, where they do it, and their own health state, employees may
encounter a variety of health hazards. Supporting diverse groups of workers and
maintaining justice throughout the whole workforce are issues that organisations
confront.
Because workers may become ill or be unable to perform their tasks for a variety of
reasons, contingency planning for all essential roles are critical. Identifying these
responsibilities, determining the skills required filling these jobs, and determining who
can replace these important employees are the first steps for organisations (Iii, 2016)
(Mandeli, 2019).
In order to avoid any losing any important jobs it is very required for the organisation to
analyse any kind of skill gaps and expanded applicants training for appropriate
replacement candidates externally. Along with it is very important for the organisation to
adopt an amended and effective strategy so that they can work on it and overcome the
threats and challenges of covid-19 pandemic which are facing by the organisation
It is very important for the organisation to develop digital technologies in order to
provide appropriate services by using online platform so that they can convey their
message and keep connected with their consumers as well.
Along with this it is very important for the employees to work with collaboration in order
to create more innovative ideas so that they can work effectively and overcome the
challenges of covid-19 pandemic (McNulty and Selmer, 2017).
