Project Proposal
This project proposal is related to how modern organizations can use digital systems
for their organizational success and growth. The proposal is going to narrate on how an
organization uses digital systems for their organizational development (Corporate
McDonalds, 2019). To do so, McDonald’s has been chosen for providing details about how
the company uses digital systems in this era.
The chosen company is using digital technologies in the form of digital
transformation for achieving the following organizational outcomes:
Competition: McD is using digital systems to keep up the growth pace in the competitive
world while rethinking the competition. Besides, McD uses digital systems for building
platforms which deliver competitive advantages within current business markets ( Neate,
2015).
For Data Management: big firms like McD are using digital information systems for turning
data effectively into assets which offer better results in real-time. Thus, the company can
further extend by updating their information systems with advanced digital technologies
(Thompson, 2019).
For serving Customers in the best way: currently, McD is using digital systems for harnessing
customer networks so that company can reinvent the path. It is because the company needs to
purchase in line with real-time behaviours of their loyal customers ( Neate, 2015).
To foster Innovation: as we know that rapid experimentation with quick and correct
feedbacks from customers always needs to foster innovation in this digital era. For instance,
food giant like McD is fostering innovation into their products and services with the help of
rapid experimentation while using digital systems.
To create value: McD uses digital transformation techniques for judging change from how
these techniques assist to create the upcoming business in the relevant industry (Thompson,
2019).

Apart from this, when McD started using modern digital systems for their
organizational success then they recognized a massive change in consumer behaviour. For
example, during 2015, McD started installing kiosks so that their customers can easily as well
as quickly customize their hamburgers. In addition to that, recent undertakings in the context
of managing digital systems were for the 2015 Super Bowl football championship. In this
way, with the help of above-mentioned information, it is clear that how McD uses
contemporary digital systems for their organizational development ( THOMPSON, 2018).
Besides, McD recently used social media for giving away products related to the
commercials. Therefore, digital systems’ effective management allowed McD to have the
capability to respond instantly to their customers’ requests while actively monitoring social
media trends in real-time.
