Scopes of the project
The major scopes that must be covered in a digital technology best project to enhance a business
school according to Venkatesh et al. (2014) must include Administration, Academics, Marketing
and Finance, and Library. Therefore all these four attributes will be majorly considered to be
improved by ensuring that digital technology is properly used to carry out the operations related
to these four major departments of any business school. The Business School library will be
accessible from any location via Internet and the task related to Marketing and Finance like
payment and authentication will also be done through internet.
Time and cost involved
The time required for completing the four major objectives will be approximately twenty eight
days or one month. Every week will be utilized to complete an objective in all six days along
with one day for rest. The cost included in the project has not yet been finally decided but the
partial costs which are required to complete the objectives gradually will be spent whenever
required. As per Sevillano-García and Vázquez-Cano, (2015), the main areas that include
monetary investment are setting up a cloud computing network server as library and securing the
big data into offline data storage servers. Hence, necessary investments will be made in online as
well as offline data and information service for improved usage and transfer of data.
Quality and risk associated with the project
The quality of education as well as services offered by the planned digital Business School will
be of superior quality in every aspect. Henderson et al. (2017) have described that the education
provided at a business school must include examples of superior quality administration and
description of theories and concepts related to business with proper audio visual presentations.
Moreover, the accessibility will also be made user friendly and secure as security is a major
concern and risk in digital technology. There are many other risks involved in digital technology
based operations as stated by Selwyn, (2015) where the explanation regarding necessary
experience and funds have been stated. There are countries where digital education could be

digital field, there is factor gets enhanced for the entrepreneurs.
Communication modules to be used
The main communication module to be used while carrying out the project is email. However,
telephonic communication and social media can also be used. As mentioned by Drijvers, (2015),
social media Android applications like WhatsApp and messenger are very much user friendly
and can be used effectively for casual communication and health this will also be considered for
communication among the project members.

Milestone 2 – The second project milestone will include the successful implementation of the
resources so that the business school can be established and operated using digital technology.
Critical evaluation of the project management process [D1]
The project management process to be used in this particular project has been decided after
analyzing all the necessary aspects carefully so that the chances of risk could be minimized
without compromising the quality of education that will be provided through digital technology
from the business school. As mentioned by O'Flaherty and Phillips, (2015), regular online tests
and assessments are very much required and hence the assessments will be carried out twice in
every month. The overall Management process followed in conducting the research project was
found to be in coordination with the milestones and objectives of the research which was desired
initially. The collection of data and information regarding online services and education provided
by various schools and colleges providing business related courses were analyzed properly
following which the necessary strategies work decided and implement it. It was kept in mind
while deciding the strategies that the online courses and education related services which are
offered by various business schools are properly counted and better alternatives are found in
order to stay as the frontrunner in the online business organisations group.
The management process has included targeting a specific segment of population keeping in
mind the scope of expansion of the online business school. It was found during the early
Research and Analysis that countries located in African continent and South Asia are not very
familiar with online business related education and hence the target population was chosen to be
from countries belonging to these areas. In many parts of India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia,
Bangladesh, and even Thailand, online based education was not so popular and hence necessary
steps were taken to make the online affiliated digital technology based education popular so that
maximum number of students could be attracted and made to enroll for the online courses.
However, when it was found that the students or potential students were not very much familiar
with Computer Based server modulus and Cloud Computing systems or even simple operations,
it was decided that some basic online courses will be delivered to them free of cost before
switching to advanced level of Business Administration related lessons. The management
process further included the implementation of strategy which primarily focused on delivering of
guest lectures by successful entrepreneur and businessman on various topics.

generate knowledge to support the project
Small-scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative research methods
appropriate for meeting project aims and objectives [P4]
A very small scale research has been conducted to find out the possibility of success if a business
school is started using digital technology. According to the statistical figures mentioned by many
experts including Gibson et al. (2015), over 70% of the teenagers in UK can access digital
devices like computers and tablets that can be used for educational purposes. In addition to this,
almost 60% of those students can easily access the internet on those devices including computers
and tablets. In order to meet the aims and objectives related to this project, secondary research
methods have been implemented where the data stated by many survey groups and agencies have
been mentioned along with details taken from books and journals.

However, some primary methods have also been applied to carry out the research regarding this
project where the various options for carrying out digital technology based business can be
analyzed properly. Practical hands on experience as per Domingo and Garganté, (2016) are ideal
to find out the best methods to carry out any business and help the software module which are
likely to be used for establishing a digital technology based Business School have been
practically analyzed and tested in order to determine the usability.
Critically evaluating the appropriate research methodologies applied in the project
and examining the accuracy and reliability of different research methods applied
[M2, D2]
The primary and secondary research methods applied for this particular project are very accurate
and reliable. This is because of the fact that the primary research has been conducted by
practically experiencing the software platforms and testing them on the basis of essential
parameters like accuracy and reliability. Since, the error parameter is also important to be
considered according to Henderson et al. (2015), it has also been take into consideration while
undertaking this project. Moreover, the secondary research has been conducted by taking
information from just the authentic and reliable sources where the statistical details and
numerical figures have been mentioned accurately.
The research methodology that has been used in conducting the project is the exploratory
methodology as it has included the expiration of various options and alternatives to accomplish
the aims and objectives for establishing a business school. Apart from that, the conducting of
proper research related to the scope and feasibility of the project has made the research
methodology in favour of the project. The including of data related to various countries where
digital education might flourish and give positive outcomes have enhance the quality of the
research methodologies used in this project.

Task 3
LO3: Presenting the project and communicate appropriate recommendations
based on meaningful conclusions drawn from the evidence findings and/or
analysis
Analysis of the research and data using appropriate tools and techniques [P5]
The primary tool that has been used to carry out the research is Data Analytics. This particular
tool as per Tossell et al. (2015) is a very reliable tool as it gives the exact figures regarding any
detail. The project management process team has gone through the annual reports of companies
that generally deal with electronics and smart devices that could be used for academics. The
annual reports of companies like HP, Apple, Asus, Lenovo, Acer, and other computer and tablet
manufacturing organisations have mentioned the approximate number of units sold which can
give an idea about the number of people using these devices.
In addition to this, online surveys using social media platform like Facebook have also been
considered where several questions related to the convenience of using digital based education
have been asked. Škrinjarić, (2014) has described that the responses given by user gives a
significant idea about the necessity of education and the chances of it success if implemented
properly. Therefore, in order to extract maximum feedback from the potential users, the survey
questions have been followed by an open blank box where feedback could be entered openly by
the users.
Communicating the appropriate recommendations as a result of research and data
analysis to draw valid and meaningful conclusions [P6]
Following are the recommendations that could be considered after going through the results and
outcomes of data and Research analysis in order to draw meaningful and valid conclusions.
The beginners must be welcomed with a free learning program where they could learn
about the benefits of digital education
Proper advertisement and promotion of the business schools must be done stating some
impressive facts about the stakeholders’ careers
The cost of advanced education related to business life distance MBA must be kept at a
nominal price in the beginning to attract more customers

online surveys are mostly accurate and tell about the attitude of people who are already using
digital technology in their everyday life. Moreover, the books and journals written by experts
from the field of digital innovation are capable of providing some authentic reports regarding
technology that could be beneficial for any digital technology based project.
Accuracy and authenticity of the primary research tools used
The Tools and techniques that have been used for primary research like practically experiencing
the features of social media application like WhatsApp and messenger were very accurate
because they were for only checked on different parameters and compared with the compatibility
of the research project that was under development. Moreover, the basic training of learners on
Computer Based networks were also conducted under the guidance experienced trainers so that
proper knowledge could be obtained with precise information about computer servers and
programs. The techniques of securing any server and also allocation of resources like study
material to the guest and visitors account from the administrator account for also learnt and
practiced by the researchers.
Authenticity of the sources of secondary research
The journals and articles written by experts from the field of digital technology were primarily
considered for secondary research. Every new details or information added in the journal were

done properly and can be further increased gradually
Regular upgrades must be done to the computer service in order to find out any
malfunctioning program and rectify the same in the following steps
Necessary feedback must be taken from the users on regular intervals to find out the areas
that could be further improved in Computer servers
Enhanced security features need to be added so that any unfavourable consequences
could be avoided that can cause inconvenience to the user as well as operators
Evaluating the selection of appropriate tools and techniques for accuracy and
authenticity to support and justify recommendations [M3]
The primary and secondary to that have been used for undertaking the research related to this
project been proven to be very appropriate as for the project and on the basis of parameters like
authenticity and accuracy. According to many analysts and experts like Beynon-Davies, (2018),
online surveys are mostly accurate and tell about the attitude of people who are already using
digital technology in their everyday life.
The journals and articles written by experts from the field of digital technology were primarily

confirmed by cross checking various other sources and also do determine the compatibility of
that information with the project. The facts and figures mentioned in those articles in journals
verified with every other possible source like the organisation that had conducted the survey why
checking their official website.
Critical evaluation and reflection on changes or developments of the initial project
management plan to support justification of recommendations and learning during
the project [D3]
This particular project also did not go through some major changes in the initial plan; there have
been some minor but important changes throughout the overall development of the project so
that the aims could be met as per the real time requirement. For example, the capacities of hard
drives and cloud based computing services have been changed depending on the level of
operations to be handled by the management team. In addition to this, some important changes
have also been made on the training module after receiving feedback from the user in the initial
training program modules of digital technology.
Task 4
LO4: Reflection on the value gained from conducting the project and its
usefulness to support sustainable organizational performance
Reflection on the value of undertaking the research to meet stated objectives and
own learning and performance [P7]
The research which has been undertaken along with considering various primary and secondary
types of activities was very important to be completed because of the fact that James and
objectives could have been made only after proper analysis of the associated data. As per the
opinion of Pucciarelli and Kaplan, (2016), it is not a wise option to carry out a business using
digital technology without going through the statistical figures about the people who are using
digital technology and also who have proper access to the same. Moreover, the value of
undertaking the research further increases because it gives an idea about the multiple ways in
which digital technology can be utilized in order to meet the aims and objectives of this project.
