business. The present report will be based on digital technology and culture and its impact on
business performance. Digital technology and culture are two major forces that greatly influence
one another. For instance, if business uses digital technology and latest techniques then it can
easily enhance the workplace culture. As new technology is introduced in this world, the culture
reacts in a negative and positive way.

changing digital world, a firm must adopt quickly innovative ideas, technology as well as

achieve success. Digital transformation can allow a quick adjustment to new conditions and

adopting digital business can enhance the work culture at company. While on the other hand, if
business do not able to reintegrate humans into their digital workforce, can erode a profitability

companies to connect with their target market. By using internet the companies are growing their

business stuffs and ideas. In addition, social media platforms has improved creativity and social
awareness for people by interacting with other people. This helps to enhance the workplace
culture and also improve the efficiency of its operations. With the increase in the digital world,
there is a reduction in operational costs and human errors (Thuy, 2021). The best example we
can take is cloud computing, it has helped many firms gain a competitive advantage amongst
their industry competitors. With the help of cloud database, businesses are able to enhance the
team collaboration and performance. Another example we can take is artificial intelligence. It is
very useful to analyze customer sentiment and also categorize support requests.

The technology that has been used in this topic is Artificial intelligence. AI refers to that
technology in which human mind stimulates the machine learning. Thus, the human intelligence
has been processed by the machine learning. There are specific functions of AI that includes,
Natural language processing, Expert system, machine vision and speech recognition. There are
mainly four type of artificial intelligence- Reactive machines, limited memory, theory of mind
and self-aware (Alloghani and et.al., 2019). The selected technology which is AI is mainly used
for providing the personal recommendations to the people. For example- previous searches of the
customers and other online behaviour. AI has been considered as that technology that has
positively impacted the business on the culture.
The machine stimulated by the human mind which proves that in order tackle the
technology it is highly mandatory that human mind must tackle it. AI is highly useful for those
companies who are developing on an effective note. AI mainly supports three types of business
needs and those are- automating the business processes, gaining the insights with the help of data
analysing process and creating effective interaction with the customers and employees.
Digital business is creating positive impact over the culture. For example- AI helps in

implement AI in their business operation to personalise sales and marketing of products. By
having this AI, companies like amazon can easily qualify leads much faster than humans. In
addition, it will also determine what kind of clients is going to purchase goods or services

machine learning (Mihu, Bogoslov and Lungu, 2021). Increased digitalization and new theories
has influenced various activities related to business. In order to attract customers businesses are
following some theories such as consumer choice theory, while using AI they apply this theory,
so they know the fact about what people buy things. Few companies were using behavioural
management theory which helps them to know about increasing trend in human elements and
viewing the workplace as a social environment. AI is helpful to focus on viewing the company as
a social environment. It means that it makes decisions and helps business shape the world around
them (Martínez-Caro, Cegarra-Navarro and Alfonso-Ruiz, 2020). The best example we can take
is that google researchers who are using consumer choice theory to predict about people need. AI
used by them to estimate about when and where floods will occur and give this information via
google public alerts so that it will keep them safe and prior informed.
There is positive relationship implemented among the digital technologies and both the
old and newly emerging theories of the business and management (Hinings, Gegenhuber and
Greenwood, 2018). Old theory of business and management such as- Classical management
theory believes that standard of the company can be increased within creating the standard output
