to steer their business to profitability and efficiency. Digital disruption has permeated the

The information communication technology and media industry will experience the highest
impact of this disruption within a very short period of time in what is considered to be the driver
of the development in digital technology (Deloitte, 2014). The finance industry will also
experience tremendous impact, considering the application of big data technologies in risk
pricing and credit modeling. Effects in the education, health, and transport industries will be
huge but will take a while before they are actualized. Accommodation and food services will
