INTRODUCTION
English for academic purposes is designed as a program for all individuals who want to
receive academic credits towards pursuing a certificate or a degree. In relation to other types of
English it is different as it uses formal academic language and is always objective in nature.
English is very much important for academic purposes as it is learned in the form of a principle
foreign language and is also a necessary part of overall curriculum. In context with the phase of
digital era it is characterized by the element of technology that helps in enhancing speed of
overall knowledge turnover within whole community (Uludag, Crawford and McDonough,
2021). The below report is based on role for news reporters in digital era. In relation with the
digital media and the aspect of globalization is that news reporters had to make sure that
whatever content they would be presenting is on the basis of constant updates.
MAIN BODY
Role for news reporter in a digital era
As per the current situation of world there are various types of changes that are
happening in the form of technology as well as innovation. It has changed the way people live,
they work and the major change which happened is in relation with the way they do their tasks
and activities ( Thi and Nguyen, 2021). It has been determined that the one enhancement which
is done is the creation of Internet and a global trend of digital world. The phase of new era and
technique has led to new hopes in the organization. For news reporters digital era was beneficial
also but at the same point of time many consequences are also faced by them. A news reporter
presents all information and stories on television news channels and on radio also. The main role
and responsibility of reporters is conduct live interviews with various clients who provide extra
information and thoughts.
In relation to digital news media the ethics play a major role in solving different ethical problems
and their norms. It includes various elements like blogging, journalism and many more
( Kamaşak, Sahan and Rose, 2021) As digital era is changing fundamentally it enhances new
forms of journalism which are very much interactive for all news reporters and in accordance
with that only they had to perform their role. Earlier if anyone wanted to watch news then they
used to turn on their radio of view it on television. In context with the present situation the
availability of Internet has spread across the world and through this it has replaced other ways.
So, with respect to this the best role for news reporters is that they change their way of accessing
each information. Now all audiences want news which is high in demand so in relation with this
their role is to gather each information from various kinds of sources so that they can create a
good impact.

The best role for news reporters are also in accordance with social responsibility. In relation with
digital era they have best and effective role that they can provide accurate information to all
audiences ( Zhou and Wei, 2021). With the implementation of digital media, roles of news
reporters also got changed. They had different responsibilities during the phase of presenting
news through television or any other way but as per today’s trend of digital era their roles
became different and they get best responsibility for this. The most efficient thing for news
reporters is that with the help of social media it offers all journalists an increased access to each
content. Now with the help of this they present all their news articles immediately and proper
research is done by them.
In the traditional phase, industries, news reporters, corporations had to just present their
information and people would consume it just by looking at channels but as the world is been
transformed and changed just providing information to audiences is not possible ( Nasseri, M.,
2021). As in the current digital world, each individual expects that they are offered various
information and effective level of content else almost all the people won’t believe it. For news
reporters the best role for them is to focus on all the current events which are happening and
following all conversations within clients. In today’s world the relationship of people with
respect to news has completely got changed and because of this the role of news reporters also
became different. Digital era is very much beneficial but at the same point of time it is a difficult
situation also. Now, in digital era news reporters can’t control their articles any more.
By looking at the current phase of pandemic situation of COVID -19 digital eras has provided
many benefits to reports and with the help of this they perform their role with full efficiency. The
best responsibility for them is that they can now build up effective relationship with all
audiences’ right from the youth generation till the elder ones. In the digital world lot of things
got changed and individual point of view also. With respect to this news reporters also need to
perform different roles ( Fang, 2021)). It is considered that the best role for them would be to
make use of new tools and techniques which can produce multimedia experience to them and can
also led their future in a better way. Now a news reporter had to become a social media reporter
become whole world has got transformed into a digital world. Each individual is using digital
media and they information which they want to view they see it just with the method of Internet.
The best role for them is that once they identify all facts and information related to news article
they keep their online conversation on a continuous basis and also update each information on
daily basis. During the phase of pandemic or at any other situation digital era is very much
important and it is considered most necessary thing for news reporters. It is crucial for them to
build up their efficiency level so that they can perform all their roles and responsibilities
efficiently in this digital world ( Wang and Parr, 2021) The role of news reporters is mainly that
they present all their articles in such a manner that both young and elder ones can understand it.
In relation to the English for academic language is the top most important thing and while
looking at the digital era the most necessary thing is the language only. The role of news
reporters is that they make proper usage of all words by using the method of digital technology.

All information needs to be presented immediately so it is their responsibility that each data
which they would be presenting is on consistent manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that English in academic is the most
important thing in today’s world. Through this only all articles are able to be presented in official
language. By looking at the phase of digital era the roles and responsibilities of news reporters
also got changed. It was considered that at every aspect of the world reporters also need to
change their ways of presenting everything. In earlier time the usage of traditional media was
used like television and radio. At that period of time each individual used to watch everything on
news channels only but now in digital world all audiences want immediate information in front
of them and on the basis of those only news reporters gather whole data and present it. Almost
all the audiences have English as their academic language so on the basis of that only news
articles are also presented. In relation with this news reporters must assure that they are
presenting each article in all types of languages so that all audiences can understand it in accurate
manner. There is a lot of difference between traditional media and transforming to digital media.
So, with respect to this they also need to change their methods.
