Beacons technology- Beacons are an intently conspicuous device which are designed to
attract attention to a specific location. Beacons are connected to a radio signal which
connected to a server and server than pushed the target to the location by showing a pop
up message by capturing the location of a targeted person. It usages low energy Bluetooth
technology to send signal to further smart devices which are nearby. Simply beacons
connect and communicate information to smart devices location based searching and
interaction are easier and accurate.
Advantageous-
Beacons devices helps in knowing about the customer, thus it help in increasing
customer data granularity.
Used by the business to send promotional messages to the nearby targeted
audience.
Disadvantageous
Tracking movement is not simple because it only capture the promximate target
only.
Beacons technology are not cost effective so they are not suitable for small
supermarkets.
Facial recognition- Facial recognition technology is sesnor based technology that
capture the emotional aspect , supermarket are using to track the people which enter in
the store. This technology can assist a supermarket by tracking the face recognition of a
person who has past experience of theft and anti-social behaviour, facial recognition
technology give message to the management and a staff is being order to have an eye on
the doubted customer.

One of the crucial importance of facial recognition technology is that it allow super
market to insure safety and security and reduces the chances of happening any crime. Facial recognition technology made shopping more enjoyable anc convient to the

that act as the trial and changing room for the customers. Customer can try various
product from the sensor and can click picture and upload it on social media to get
suggestion from their friends. Oak fitting changing room is a perfect exapmple where
customer try products which they carry and can demands the desired size and colour by
using RFID technology, the support staff with Big Data gained the information and take
product to the customer on changing room.

Disadvantage Auto checkout- After evaluating all the technology lets talk about the payment system,
modern supermarket are free from line and hassle free by including auto checkout where
customer scan the product and from their respective account the payment will be made.
