Introduction
This report is based on generating a digital management system for QAHE University.
Higher education provides the resources to manage and acquire the information mainly based on
the digital system which includes the images, text and real-time data and research. All these
things are divided in the form of the portals and the websites or they can be publicized in the
form of the broadcasting, services and the collaborative environment. Digital technology is re-
construct for the purpose of the instructions in the classrooms of the on-campus.
They can be in the form of the web-based course and deliver with the help of the outsiders’
partners. These days the lectures and performances are not that much effective in comparison
with the digital based information. This is the main reason behind losing the reputation of the
lectures in higher education. These issues can be solved by using the Digital Asset Management
System. It provides the facility of the assets and storing of the searching g essay and their use for
the purpose of the management. It includes some factors like an evolution of the products of t
consumer, used in minimizing the loss of the copyright, division of the media content in different
portals and websites.

Use Case Diagram
There is a QAHE University which wants to develop the online library based on a digital
management system. This library provides the easiest way to purchasing the books from the
library and generates facility for reserving the books if limited (Cabrerizo, et al., 2015). This
assessment uses the USE CASE Diagrams for showing the concept of the digital management
system. Use Case Diagrams are considered as the behavioural diagram of any system. These are
a group of the actions and operations which performed on the systems. It includes the actors and
the elements for showing the relationship between each other.
These diagrams are able to show the basic requirements and priorities for generating the system.
It provides the analysis of high level to clarify the view of the system (Wang et al., 2012). It
shows the relationship between worrying elements and details of the actors.
Characterization of the use case diagrams:
a) It uses the multi-level functionality for the system.
b) It shows all the concept by making the description for the actions.
c) Show all the functional requirements.
d) It uses to make the path from starting point to ending point for set-up the relation.
The use case diagram mentioned below in figure-1 is based on the scenario and it includes the
actors like staff members, students, librarian, third-party staff, registration user, etc.
1. Visitor can visit the library and make a login there.
2. The main actor is the librarian which provides the book to the staff and students.
3. Then the student registration is done by the registered user (Tabassum, et al., 2015).
4. The student describes the books details and librarian provide it.

Addition of book: If book demand increases then the more books will be added in the racks of
the book by the librarian.
Deletion of the book: Books can be deleted from the racks if they are not in use from a long
time or if its demand is low down.
Reservation of book: Books can be reserved by the user or staff members to purchase it within
some days. So that students don't face any type of problem through it.
Feedback: At last the librarian needs the feedback by commenting from the member side, user
or the students on the site. It helps them to maintain the status of the library.
Updating the status: Books status and library status should be maintained by making changes in
the books rags which provides the easiest facility to a user in many ways.
Conceptual Diagram
Conceptual diagrams are the way to represent a system which includes all the concepts and
simulations data. They are generally formed after the process of generalization and
conceptualization (Reeves, et al., 2017). They are like the abstractions in real life, either it may
be public or social. It includes conceptual classes, association classes etc.

Figure 2: Conceptual Class Diagram
Description of the Conceptual Diagram
It includes the five classes that are a book, member record, class name, transaction bill
(Hausmann, V. and Williams, S.P., 2016). They all are interconnected with each other and
provides the way to manage all the things in a proper way. It includes the association or
conceptual classes along with the main classes and the path which shows link-up between each
class like create, issue, request, pay (Hirsch, et al., 2016).

1. Book: It shows the name of the author, year of publish, edition, cost and sometimes rack
number also include in this class. This shows all the information of the books for providing a
facility to the librarian as well as the student (Carvalho, et al., 2015).
2. Member record: This class shows all the IDs whether relating with the member or the book.
It also shows the number of booking of the books and the maximum book limit for the
students. It also describes the date of membership of the users.
3. Bill: This class shows the bill number, amount of the book. It involves two tasks that are the
creation of the bill and updating of the bill (Unda, L.A., 2015). It also shows the date and the
ID of the book.
4. Class name: This class shows the verification of the ID and number of book issue timings.
This shows the returning of the book concept and also the calculation of the fine with a bill
creating.
5. Transaction: This class includes the IDs of the book, member and the transaction. It
involves three tasks that are the creation and deletion of the transaction.
Interaction Diagram
Sequential Diagram
Sequence diagrams are used to simulating the logic behind each process, function and the
operation. They are used to show the details of case diagrams include in the process. Sometimes,
it shows the functionality of systems depends on a present or future topology. It clear visualizes
the way of moving the objects and elements in the system (Mücke, et al., 2016).

Documentation:
1. Firstly, it initiates with the user.
2. Then the librarian gets access to the user (Bjørnnes, et al., 2016).
3. Librarian gets the member type.
4. Fine is calculated by the librarian by creating the account.
5. Fine is paid by the user and then the member identity and penalty are recorded.
6. Books update by the librarian.
7. At last, the member record is performed (Baskerville, et al., 2017).
Activity Diagram
Activity diagram is used to show the way of actions or the flow of the process. It plays a key role
in the system. It shows all the operations and actions performed on the application or system
(Abdulrazaq, M.B., and Mustafa, O.M., 2017). It is referred to as the flow chart to describe each
activity from the starting point to the ending point. These diagrams are used to control the flow
or the operations of the system. Its main operation is the activity of the system and it not only
shows the visuality of the nature, it also shows the construction and execution of the system like
in this diagram the activity starts from the inquiry and proceed with checking the ratio of the
books in the library (Inoue, et al., 2017). Then verify the details of the members and the books
and then again took back books form the students and then again maintain the records for the
further process.
