a service industry.
Answer:
While analysing the management style with respect to the aspects of a service industry
it has been noticed that most of the effective management styles are intended to be adaptive
in nature, flexible as well as the appropriate. Followed by this aspect it has been observed that
there are several influencing factor present which affects the management style of a service
industry. Those identified influencing factors are listed below:
 Among all of the identified influencing factors one of the most impactful factor is the
personality of the leader’s as well as the entire management team. Since, it has been
noticed from the investigation that it is very important to maintain healthy relationship
among the leader and the follower which indicates that the leaders must be polite as
well as they must hold the capabilities to handle all kinds of problems that may
impact the workplace environment (Renko et al., 2015).
 Along with the personalities of leaders there is a significant impact of employ
supervision in the management style of a service industry. Hence, it can be stated that
the leaders must be highly efficient with their monitoring skill as it will help the
employ to work appropriately.
 Apart from the above aspects it has been also noticed that responsibilities of the
leaders in order to maintain the work flow within the organization holds a significant
impact of the management style of the industry (Yahaya and Ebrahim 2016).
 Followed by this it has been also noticed that there is a huge impact of effective
communication process on the management style as it is highly important for a leader
to effectively communicate with each of the employ present in the organization.

Explain the role of the leader and different leadership styles in a service sector industry
context.
Answer:
After a thorough investigation on the leadership style it has been mentioned that there
is a significant impact of the leadership in the industrial services followed by this aspect it has
been noticed that a leader plays a significant role in the organizational work process which
has indicated that a leader maximizes the utilization of the resources as well as a leader shows
a path followed by which the employ present in the organization performs. Along with
defining a path a leader also motivates and instructs his employ with the purpose to enhance
the work efficiency (Demirtas and Akdogan 2015).
Followed by the impact of leader in an organization there are several leadership styles
are present which influences the services of an industries, those leadership styles are listed
below:
Democratic Leadership Style- In this types of leadership styles there is a huge participations
of employ in making any sort of decisions however, the final decision will be made by the
leader but the opinions will be asked from each of the existing employ (Anderson and Sun
2017).
Strategic Leadership Style- In this types of leadership style the leader decides an effective
framework for all task that will be performed within the organization and the employ must
followed those.
Coach Style Leadership- In this type of leadership style the leader will maximize the
utilization of the skills of all the employ from which the leader can form an effective team
which will be work efficient as well.

Bureaucratic Leadership Style- In this types of leadership the leader opt for employ
opinions however, the decisions are entirely made by the management and there is no
influence of any employ’s opinion.
