Enhancing employability is referred to a work based learning that takes place in a work
based environment. Through this skills and competence of an individual is enhanced to obtain
successful job progress in professional carrier. In this project report employability is enhanced
regarding future job in digital market (Morley, 2018). Opportunities that are available to current
candidates those who have appropriate degree and future of work is analysed with anticipated
requirements for job roles.
SECTION 1
Digital marketing is on the boom as per current marketing scenario and is creating huge
base for future employment. The global labour market in 2030 is likely to be competitive and
those who are competent to work with flexibility and ready to accept changes will survive
longer. Digitation has created various job opportunities for large number of candidates those who
possess required skilled to work in digital sector. Opportunities that are available to current in
digital marketing is for video/audio production, mobile marketing, search engine marketing, E-
commerce, Email marketing and for pay per click specialist (Barnes, Green and de Hoyos, 2015).
Recruitment and selection of individual who is qualified for digital market job roles is
based on the skills, knowledge and experience that is available with them. In the current market
trend it is seen that employers are recommending the candidates that possess skills of data
analysis, effective learning skills, Email marketing skills, social media skills and social media
advertising skills. It is seen that in the current phase individual with accurate knowledge of the
digital marketing and qualified enough to understand and interpret consumer behaviour are
preferred over others. For the job of pay per click knowledge and understanding of digital media,
understanding consumers actions while using the social media is required (O’Connor and
Bodicoat, 2017). Special short term courses are introduced for enhancing learning in digital
marketing and employers are preferring individuals who possess a little experience of working in
the digital marketing.
Increment in the usage of internet has created a new market to engage for job
opportunities. Usage of social media, online selling and various apps has increased to great
extent and digital marketing created a new space for job opportunities to current individuals who
are educated and qualified with the demanded skills (Sharma, 2015). For digital marketing a
