1. Explain marketing
Marketing refers to the process in which the organization engages the target audience to
create value by building strong relationships and this helps in making the business effective and
efficient with the way the business is being represented in the market by selling its products and
services to the customers (Liu, 2017). Marketing is the component which helps in creating the
value through which the business is taking place and this helps in making the business
management scale effective for the scale of maintaining what are factors and aspects on large
scale in promotion of the products and services which the business renders to the general public.
Marketing helps the customers know market and with the help of that they are able to
identify the recent marketing trends which are taken into concern and according to that the needs
and requirements of the customers are taken into action (Grönroos, 2017). Marketing helps in
promoting and branding of the products and services which are to be made available in the
market and this helps the business in knowing what are the strategies for marketing which are to
be framed effectively and efficiently on large scale. Marketing also helps in knowing the
customers’ needs and demands.
2. Explain marketing mix and where communication mix fits
Marketing mix is referred as the set of actions and tactics in which the company uses to
promote the brand and the products of the company. Marketing mix consist of 4P’s which is
Product, Price, Place and Promotion. These are basic four components which are explained
below -
Product – Product is defined as the good in which the company deals and makes it available to
the customers in the market (Thabit and et.al., 2018).
Price – Price is defined as the value of the product in quantity.
Place – Place is defined as where the product is made available so that it reaches the customers
effectively and efficiently.
Promotion – Promotion is the technique to sell the product through various ways of marketing
and advertising channels. And this process is done with the help of social media platforms such
as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the official website for the products and services of the
business or organization (Dost and et.al., 2019).

Communication mix plays an important role in defining the market structure through which
the products and services are placed effectively in front of the customers. Communication mix
fits the marketing mix in knowing the consumers and promoting the brand on large scale in
effective and efficient manner in the market (Marzuki, 2021).
3. Explain digital marketing
Digital marketing is also known as online marketing and is the promotion of brands which
helps in connecting to the customers that are potential in buying the services and products of the
company by using technology and internet and the other forms of digital communication (Saura
and et.al., 2017). Digital marketing is base through which all products and services of company
are taken into consideration of being placed in market.
Digital marketing is important in monitoring and tracking the campaigns for which the
company is holding its products and services to be delivered to the market. Digital marketing
makes easy the process of knowing campaigns and making them work for the promotion and
branding of the products and services which are to be made available to the customers on large
scale in an effective and efficient way.
There are 7 types of digital marketing which helps in knowing what is scale through which
the purpose of digital marketing of products can be continued in market to make it a successful
brand (López García and et.al., 2019). These seven types are – Pay – per – click, mobile
marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), marketing analytics, email marketing, content
marketing, Social Media Marketing (SMM). Thus these are the main 7 types of digital
marketing.
4. Explain social media marketing
Social media marketing (SMM) is defined as use of social media networks so that
company’s products and services are helpful in marketing (Li and et.al., 2021). Social media
marketing helps the customers in providing them wide range of products and services which also
helps in making the scale through which all the aspects of the company are successfully growing
towards the scale of development and promotion of the products and services is also done
effectively and efficiently. There are various social media marketing tools which are helpful in
promoting the business and with the help of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook
