1. What attracted you to this creator’s work?
Ans. The attraction due to which the work has been created is the family get together party
taking place in family home garden. The factor that creates attraction is togetherness, family
love for one another, closeness with family members and relaxation.
2. Why do you like it? Is it the way they approached the specialism? Is it the subject /
content of their work? Is it the value they hold as a creator? Or is it something else?
Ans: The thing I like of the artist is their approach in reflecting modernity in the Bucharest
society of late eighteenth century. Also, the artwork depicts the family love which I like the
most of the artwork. The artwork based on family get togetherness indicates the artist’s
respect towards their own family and also indicates how one could find love and support by
being in family. Therefore, it is the value for family members the artist has highlighted
through his work.
3. You should also research and see if they were also part of an art movement.
Ans: Yes, the artist Theodor Aman and his artwork was part of art movement known as
modernism. This particular movement was meant for social transformation within the western
society through changing vision of society, progressing or moving forward. With this artwork,
artist Aman has participated in art movement known as “Modernism” through depicting how
partying at home bring more love among family members and acts as a source of relaxation

1. What attracted you to this creator’s work?
Ans: The thing that attracted me the winter journey cycle of Franz
Schubert. Also, the artwork of Caspar David Friedrich being a
quintessential of romanticism is another point of attraction.
2. Why do you like it? Is it the way they approached the
specialism? Is it the subject / content of their work? Is it the
value they hold as a creator? Or is it something else?
Ans: The reason for which this artwork was liked is due to being an
emblem of self-reflection of life’s path. Also, the glorification of
hope, curiosity and nature in the image is the reason for liking this
artwork. Accordingly, the value held as a creator of being romantic
is the primary reason for selecting and favouring this artwork.
3. You should also research and see if they were also part of an
art movement.
Ans: Yes, this artwork was considered to be the masterpiece of
romanticism movement. Also, Friedrich has expressed a German
liberal and nationalist feelings through his artwork, so this piece of
art is also a part of nationalist movement.

1. What attracted you to this creator’s work?
Ans: The thing that attracted me towards this artwork is the way the author has reflected his desire
for catching up contemporary European developments through creating emblematic painting
containing Rocks and Birch trees. Also, the use of birch trees and rocks for indicating the desire for
development has attracted me a lot. An element of love for nation or home place is additional factor
acting as a source of attraction.
2. Why do you like it? Is it the way they approached the specialism? Is it the subject /
content of their work? Is it the value they hold as a creator? Or is it something else?
Ans: I like the artwork due to the way in which Loan Andreescu has represented his desire for
catching up the developments taking place in European society. This is because the use of Birch
tree symbolizes new beginnings, rebirth and growth while the use of rocks symbolizes strengths,
durability and steadiness giving positive vibes for the scope of development of Romanian
regions. Accordingly, it is the way in which the artist has approached and presented his desire
for developments within the home country which indicates that how he gave respect and value
to his nation as an artist.
3. You should also research and see if they were also part of an art movement.
Ans: Yes, the artist Loan Andreescu and his artwork was part of the popular art movement
originated in the late 20th Century known as Futurism. This movement was meant for and focusing
on dynamism, technology and speed and thus the aim of this movement was nothing but to show
the desire for developments within own country. Accordingly, by participating in this movement
Loan has symbolize his desire for Romanian developments through birch trees and rocks where the
former is a sign of rebirth while the latter is the sign of strengths.
