INTRODUCTION
The Integrated professional skills are those skills which are being used in the modern and
digital age in the society. The professional skills assist to resolve the issue, they are more
creative and more strategic which is being needed in knowledgeable society (Sousa, M.J. and
Wilks, D., 2018). There are different skills which can be used in like virtual collaboration,
information technologies, emotional intelligence. This report will evaluate the different type of
online communication platforms and their advantages, disadvantages with respective suitability.
The online storage application are also determined with example. Moreover, the challenges and
measures of online searching is being explained.
MAIN BODY
Video communication tools after COVID-19 pandemic period
The communication is very essential in every company to sustain and coordinate between the
function of the businesses. The video communication is being modern technology tool which is
being used most commonly to transfer the information regarding the activities (Huda, M. and et.
al., 2017). After the COVID -19 pandemic arise globally than most of the companies throughout
the world has shifted their working style and performing their work from home. In such situation
the communication is not able to done properly so to do virtual communication different
applications are being developed so that information can be transferred more efficiently. Some of
them are discussed below:
Zoom
This is a video communication platform which is basically cloud based. This application
allow users to set up a virtual audio and video conferences. The businesses are using this
platform to provide trainings and other necessary information to their employees so that they can
perform efficiently in their work. This tool is being used when their meetings are for long time.
The iOS and android both the user can use this application from their smartphones, laptop and
computer. Zoom is proving online communication facilities to the businesses and companies
who are not able to gather and communication physically (Patwary, A.K. And et. al., 2020).
There is also no requirement of any id to join any conference meeting. The zoom includes Zoom
basic, Zoom pro, Zoom business and Zoom enterprise. This application is recommended for the
businesses all over the globe as it transfer high quality of audio and video instantly. The

employees can used this application free of cost and mainly used by small and medium
businesses. If the Zoom app should be used keep all its benefits. Many companies like H&M
have made use of Zoom to communicate with its employees.
Easier to use and spread: The application is so easy to understand and use, as user or employee
just have to download the application and set up in the device. The business have no difficult to
make use of this Zoom to deploy widely (O'Brien, M., Moore, K. and McNicholas, F., 2020). It
can connect across the phones, desktops, room system in office as well as home. This application
provides different features like online training programs, conference audio or video and different
kinds of virtual meetings. The application has remarkable experience whether individual is
setting in large room or small.
Interoperability: Zoom help to connect in virtual meetings with all kinds of electronic screen
devices. As all the business can able to make use of this tool of video communication. This is
being used after COVID-19 situation very commonly with the business internationally. The
government have restricted company to perform their activities from home so the campus are
basically closed and to communication with each other video communication is being used. The
Zoom is able to add large number of people in a single meeting so companies are using this when
common information and training is to conduct for the employees of the organizations.
Price goes easy with budget: As the Zoom is offering free to the personal users so it can be gain
competitor benefits. As the application different platforms that are being used by different type
of people like professional, business, enterprise, rooms.
Disadvantages
Too many subscriptions: The Zoom application is based on the subscription which has to be
taken to use this application. In the beginning stages it charges a nominal amount yet the single
subscription is not enough to use the whole application.
Quality of video are not standard: as in the current world where people are preferring 4k video
quality and this is become normal standard and application is not able to meet the standard.
Suitability: the zoom is cloud-based video call application which access the businesses to work
remotely. It is more suitable for the small and medium business as their number of employees are
less and all can able to communicate with this application.

Microsoft teams
This is persistent platform of communication with online meetings, sharing the
documents in group of people (Djelailia, O. and et. al., 2019). This application is having team
space which help in communication purpose in the businesses. It is basically provided for both
the user Android and iOS. This app is general and basic to use for video, audio and vis text
communication.
Benefits
Productive gains effective communication as with the help of Microsoft teams the productivity
of businesses get enhanced as companies can do their group conversation, chat, meetings in this
single application.
Better focused on work: This application also assist to develop a focus of employees on work
related topics and also assist to prioritize (Fidan, M. and Debbağ, M., 2018).
Disadvantages
Confusing structure: the Microsoft teams is having relatively complex application which is why
employees and other users get confused while using this application.
Difficulty in permission settings: the teamwork in every organization are not binary, every
individual have to perform different and permission setting restrict that is not possible at that
time.
Suitability: The Microsoft teams offer online communication platform to the businesses and its
employees so that it also facilitates remote users. The all type of organization can able to use this
as it is suitable for all.
Cloud storage and computing
The storage of cloud computing is with the help of internet to provide services of storage to the
managers which follows just-in-time capacity with cost (Djelailia, O. and et. al., 2019). There are
different application of cloud storage like google Docs, Strong space and many more.
Cloud storage is the software which help to save the data and the file by online way that can be
access by any private or public network. Data is saved on the off location than that is responsible
to the provider of the cloud storage. It is duty of that provider to provide the security, hosts,
manages and maintain. The cloud storage also delivers very cost- effective, it is a alternative way
to store the files on the network. It provides businesses an unlimited storage to save their files

and data. This storage provides elasticity, your data is being scales to increase its volume. The
provider uses to develop a virtual server to reach the demand. This provides ability to share the
files without accessing the local storage system.
Advantages
Accessibility: When the cloud is being used to save the file than business or company can make
use of it anywhere which have internet access (Sundaresan, S. and et. al., 2017). As in the
COVID situation employees are not able to work from the office so with cloud storage
companies can prevent its precious data.
Recovery: with the help of cloud businesses can access the data from the internet on cloud. This
act as solution when business people are not in the company yet can perform their duties and
work from anywhere.
Disadvantages
Internet connection: the cloud storage need to have internet connection to access the data and
information that is being saved on cloud. If the business or company have less speed internet
than they will face issue while access the data and sometimes they are not able to access the files.
Privacy: As while using the cloud provider, is not able to have data in the physical storage. The
security may be affected.
Suitability: The cloud storage is suitable as in the modern businesses there are lots of
information that have to be secure and safe. As businesses people can assess the information
from anywhere anytime. Companies can save their bundle of data on cloud storage in well-
defined manner. Many businesses are using cloud storage as it is very efficient method to store
data with maximum security. This application is widely used by the companies for long-term and
short -term task.
Challenges and measures of security and privacy
The privacy and the security are being significant challenge of the internet things. Being safe
while using the internet is important than ever (Joyia, G.J. And et. al., 2017). There are different
challenges that happens while using the internet.

Bad password practise: The user of the internet have to develop a strong password that lead to
have more secure and safe environment. As per the analysis there are number of people who are
not able to be secure and safe with the data and information which they explore on internet. As
their practise is to develop general password which can be easily breakable (Liu, Y. and et. al.,
2020). Now application are also suggested developing a strong and unique password which is
more secure and safe.
Phishing attacks: The cybercrime are regularly increasing as people are tracking the activities
and performing crime. This is mostly done to know the information of credit cards number with
respective site. This attack is common in the similar websites and the related hyper links. The
people are not able to identify which is right one and which is fack and they uses to fill their
information and they are being attacked.
Unsecured web browsing: the people are being not able to know that which information is to
share to whom, when they share the information to unrelatable website or page than unfair
practise happens.
Malware: There are different viruses which are spread internationally with pollute any data or
information that is saved online. This are also can happen without any information of it. As their
different tv shows who are majorly doing this kind of malware.
Measures
Limit the level of information of social media: By controlling the information online will assist to
secure from the threats which are being widely spread. One should control its information
sharing on social sites like Facebook, Instagram and other application so that information are
being not spread widely. As it become easy for the cybercriminal to perform their activities.
Safe browsing: It is important to browse the sites which are opened in incognito or any other
private mode. Their different safe browsing option in various searching engine as google is
having incognito, Firefox has private browsing option. When an individual use this platform they
get in safe zone after this. As still this also not completely private but yet this can avoid lots of
unfair practises.
Make use of different searching engine: There are different web servers which can be used to
visit the sites so this also help to avoid the cybercrimes. If a person is being using similar engine
regular than there are chance of blocking or tracking the websites your visit.

Careful while using internet: As the basic way that hackers cooperating your online privacy by
attempting phishing. As when employees of any organization or any other user will click the link
carefully than the unfair practise get eliminated.
Using trustworthy antivirus: The cybercrime can be eliminated with the help of effective
antivirus. The installation of antivirus software on all the devices will assist to skipping any
unfair or criminal activities (Joyia, G.J. And et. al., 2017). This software will help to keeping the
hackers away from monitoring the computer, assessing the related information.
CONCLUSION
This report concludes that there are different professional skills in the modern world,
there are different online communication application tool which are being used by different
companies to communicate after the pandemic situation of COVID-19. People are able to
communicate effectively with the help of this application. Each of the application have their
suitability and benefits and drawbacks. Further the internet storage application is discussed
which can able to save huge number of information and data. Their are challenges like malware
and other hacker who are doing criminal activities and individual measure such as antivirus uses
are discussed in this.
