My learning moment

What
This includes the reduction of the carbon footprint which is the total amount of
greenhouse gases being created by action of people living in society. the increase in carbon
footprint negatively impacts the working of environment and because of this it is necessary to
reduce it.
So what?
So for the development of the environment and society it is essential that carbon footprint
is being reduced. This is necessary as reduction in carbon footprint will improve the working and
environment will develop. With the help of adding something for the development of
environment and sustainability will improve the society in better manner.
Now what?
At time of working in direction of reducing the carbon footprint I learnt that making the
environment safe and healthy is very important for the better working. Also, with these activities
I analysed that protection and safeguarding the environment is very important and this also assist
in improving the self- development as well. also it assisted me in developing good knowledge
relating to different types of the methods through which carbon emission can be reduced.
A use of 21st century digital
About this experience
During working on reduction of carbon footprint I learnt that many companies emit high
level of carbon footprint and it affects the environment in negative manner. Along with this I
also experienced that the use of strategies for reduction of carbon footprint is very important for
the improvement of the environment and its protection.
When did the experience take place
From 1 April 2022 to 12 April 2022.
Supporting evidence
For this the supporting evidence includes the fact that I have good experience in using the
various strategies for the development and protection of the environment. This is very important

for the reason that when the proper protection of environment is undertaken then this will
improve the working efficiency of the environment. Also, when the environment will be safe
then it will improve the working efficiency and also other people will also remain safe and
healthy.
Along with this another evidence involves the following some articles relating to the
reduction in carbon footprint and this will improve the environmental condition in better and
effective manner.
Overall reflection
With the overall working it is clear that by using the different articles it was much easier to
develop the working in better and effective manner. Also during the working, I found many
difficulties but I was in ability to meet those issues and try to solve my problem and improve and
work in direction of protection of environment. Also with the help of the experience I also
evaluated that by just seeing at the situation I can identify that something wrong practice is being
used and this affects the environment and its working to a great extent.
SMART Goals
Overall aim
The overall aim of the portfolio is to try to reduce the carbon footprint within the environment.
Current situation
I have studied the case study of different companies who are working on reduction of carbon
footprints and what strategies they are using.
SMART target
By the end of April that is 30th April I will try to reduce the carbon footprint by at least 2.5 %.

Who or what can help?
For this I can take help of other peer group members and other team members as well.
Also another use of internet can also be helpful as different ways can be found out.
Reflection
With the help of this part of portfolio it was clear that having an objective is very important and
SMART objectives makes the working much better. This is particularly because of the reason

that when the clear and concise objectives are being set then this improves the working
efficiency and assist in doing the work in better manner.
EVIDENCE OF LEARNING
Ability
I have earned the carbon neutral certificate. In this the skills and knowledge of mine
which helps in commitment to decarbonize and neutralize the remaining impact with the help of
supporting the environmental projects. My ability in carbon neutral footprint is one in which the
sum of greenhouse gas emissions produced is offset for natural carbon sink and carbon credits. In
these PAS 2060 an international recognized specification for carbon neutrality and build on the
PAS 2050 environment standard for setting out the requirements for qualification, reduction and
offsetting of greenhouse gas. The carbon trust certification has helped me to site and events
which are robustly measured footprint for commitment to year-on-year emissions that reduces
the evidence for planning and demonstrating the reduction which are to be met for remaining
verified in the carbon sinks and carbon credits. It has demonstrated my commitment for
decarbonize and a willingness to offset the remaining impacts. Enhancing my green credentials
through an annual commitment has been the factor responsible for this commitment.

I have been able to complete the following training,
 PAS 2060 the internationally recognize specification for carbon neutrality.
 PAS 2050 building on the existing environmental standards.
 PAS 2080 the carbon management in infrastructure.
Reflection
I have been able to make significant contribution to the activities of reducing carbon
emission. While gaining the international recognition for my organization on the carbon
neutrality I was focusing on the creation of requirements that need the business to qualify and
reduce the offsetting of the greenhouse gas. For me this certification helped us to achieve the
planning and demonstrating the commitment and managing the environmental standards. My
contribution to global decarbonization efforts through support of environmental projects it was
also helpful for aligning my business with the UN sustainability development of goals.

Achievement
In 2019, I was able to complete this diploma degree at a very young age for reduction of carbon
footprint. As per the climate active carbon neutral standards I needed to have measurement
that established the mission boundaries, reduction which would be the strategy that required
creation, offsetting for cancelling out the carbon emission which was made for the reduction
of the purchased carbon offsets. This is the verified emission that reduced the issues for the
golden standard. It was the verification of the carbon units that were verified as the factors
that removed the number of carbon credits that were provided.

Reflection
For being able to gain this achievement I went through a long process. In this I measured
the emission for 12 months. This was helpful for me to create the emissions that were required.
The next step to this was the offsetting of the residual emission which brought me the
verification and activity data for validation. I was able to enter the licence agreement after this
stage and this was the display of mine carbon neutral label that was the communication for the
progress.

Overall Aim
My goal is to achieve more than 70% in this subject assessment.
Current situation
Till now I have been able to complete the assessment task 2A and task 2B. Besides, this I
have been able to complete all other modules for the documentation of them in Pebble-Pad for
additional evidence of my portfolio.

Reflection
During the preparation of the aim for these assessments I was very confident for my
ability to achieve above 70%. I was focusing on finding the results that I would need to explore
for gaining the activities that needed to be explored by me. I was able to prepare a table for each
of the different tasks and examine the key consideration required for the learning. In the topic of
reducing carbon emission, I was able to analyse confidence as my strength, research skills as
weakness and development of technology and pollution as opportunities and threats respectively.

With this activity I learnt that using STEM is important as is includes different skills like
critical thinking, enhancing learning experience and others.

With help of storyboard it was learnt that it is very creative way to develop
understanding.
This will help tutor in improving the level of learning and creative thinking of other
students by motivating them to apply story board in better manner.
Along with this, this activity will also assist in transferring the skill to others as the
storyboard will be used for creating visual presentation as well and it will provide a base to
others as well.

With help of completion of team agreement, I learnt that working in team is important as
it results in developing good and better ideas and eventually result in personal development as
well.

This activity assists the tutor in improving the working condition better and also this will
be resulting in creation of new and innovative ideas and will improve the base of learning. also it

The digital competence questionnaire was assistive in developing good learning relating
to different tools and techniques of the ICT.

I was able to learn the importance of reducing carbon emission for the organizations. This
was helpful for me to realize the areas which that I was able to bring through the relevant
activities and articles for reviewing the Australian curriculum. I was able to develop
sustainability in this activity that was able to present me opportunities for my future growth and
think about the future generations.

From this assessment I was able to create good knowledge about the importance of the
learning abilities. In this assessment I have been able to gain certain certification that allows me
to gain the strategies that are essential. With the help of reflection in each segment I was able to
transfer my skill to the future studies.
