INTRODUCTION
There are many organisations which impacted due to a covid outbreak where they need to
face various challenges and used various techniques that can help business organisations to work
effectively without getting a negative impact on their business. There are various project
management tools which used effectively during a pandemic. There is a discussion about
information technology infrastructure which contains some software and hardware components
and includes desktop computers, software applications, data centres. These components may
work together to create some effective communication, a productive workflow and the amount of
input/efforts that are required for a business's product. There were many start-ups or small
businesses before this pandemic COVID-19 situation which reflects the low scale infrastructure
and gets the job done at a low cost. The report will cover the advantages, disadvantages of
applications as well as the suitability of cloud computing and storage. Businesses also need to
face various challenges regarding privacy and security along with a method to get rid of these
challenges (Ashok, Steenkiste and Bai, 2018).
TASK 1
Identifying Project collaboration tools and discussing how they help businesses during the covid
outbreak
Project collaboration tool refers to a piece of software that helps the manager and
business organisation to simplify their tasks for achieving effective and better results. These are
the tool that has a high impact on the functioning of business which can help in assisting tasks.
This may include instant messaging, task management, file transfers, video conferencing, file
transferring, real-time collaboration along project monitoring. Many tools have been developed
and are widely used during the lock-down situation which was due to covid impact. Various
project collaboration tools have been used to help businesses for surviving where due to reducing
physical contact, there could have a high impact on businesses where these project collaboration
tools have played a crucial role in continuing the business process. There are many project
collaboration tools in which two chosen tools are WebEx which is a communication tool and
Asana that helps in managing project and tasks (Thiele 2018).

This is the project management tool that has the specification for personalized video
meeting rooms where businesses can use this to making video conferencing and meeting related
to the business module. This can also help to time to time meeting for boosting employees and
providing training regarding any tasks. These tools have the application to host and join
meetings. Businesses use this tool for collaboration, webinars, training and customer support.
During the pandemic, this tool has shown its specification to the business and helped many
business organisations to manage their work with high effect. This application has helped the
business organisation to use their feature and help themselves in the business. Many features
have been used during the pandemic (Sannegadu 2021). Due to pandemic and lock-down, many
organisation needs to work from home where every individual faced various difficulty in the
initial phase. But due to this tool, there are many of the facilities used by the business
organisation to use their features and to work on it. Due to having the specification of video
conferencing, business organisations were able to communicate with their team easily and were
able to show and regulate their task effectively with their team members and higher authority.
There were many solutions due to the use of this software tool application. These were the
effective tools which in the initial phase allows more than 40 countries to communicate with
each other in an easy way where about 50 members were limited for about 40 minutes which was
increased during the covid time (Remote collaboration tools in an era of a global pandemic
(2021)). This tool has helped the business organisation to meet virtually during the covid time
and work smoothly about their working where WebEx allowed to communicate with each other
and sharing of information effectively with better security. This also allows to sharing of file
which provides high benefits to business at the real-time and help to work with better flow. This
tool was used by many countries which provides effectiveness in running business smoothly
without any communication barrier and help to stay productive during a covid outbreak for
working remotely (Wang 2021).
Asana
This is another project management tool that is used to manage project and tasks. This is
the tool that has a high impact during the covid outbreak. This is a web and mobile application
which have an easy design to organise, track and manage a team with their work. This has team-
based work management. This is the application that can help to work constantly where
businesses got benefits by using this tool for their project. This is the tool that has provided much

help with their application to business organisations to perform various tasks with better effect.
These tools have much application which is used by the online business to perform various tasks
smoothly during a covid outbreak (3 practical collaboration tools for the coronavirus outbreak,
(2020)). This application allows a business organisation to assign tasks to another team member
that can be monitored easily. This has also specification to follow the project and to monitor its
deadlines that is beneficial for the business manager to the monitoring of their employee work
performance for the smooth process of business. A to-do list is also helpful in delivering better
and effective communication along with assigning work that can be there on a specific time
basis. There is also an application of a calendar that can help in strategic planning for the online
business. The application of this tool has helped businesses and their employee to work
effectively even during the covid outbreak (Greve 2020).

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak that is caused by the novel coronavirus, many
institutions and companies take precautionary measures to instruct their employees to work from
home for their safety purpose which reduces the risk of contagion. However, Employees have
been facing different security threats because of working from home. Working from home is
purely depends upon the cloud computing (CC) applications that help employees to complete
their tasks on time. The cloud computing(CC) model contains platform, software, hardware, and
infrastructure as a service with the complete package. This services model is now known as a
type of service which is offered. Three categories include services:
Platform as a service(PaaS)
Infrastructure as a service(IaaS)
Software as a service(SaaS).
The PaaS includes platforms and middleware for application developers having typical examples
like Google App Engine, Windows Azure, AWS Elastic Beanstalk and so on. The SaaS includes
business application users containing examples like CRM, HR, billing and invoicing, transaction
processing, online collaboration and so on (De Carvalho and et. al., 2017). The IaaS involves
computing power, storage and other IT infrastructure containing examples like DigitalOcean,
