digital world that used to have development in the digital market. It is very important for the
companies and people to adopt the digital changes that helps them to have better competition in
the market.
This used to provide the navigation to the companies and connects them to provide the
better services to the people. As many of the businesses are lacking behind after the happening of
the pandemic, but after having the digital development it helps them to survive in the market.
According to research it is seen that only 30% of companies in the market used to have the
digital transformation (Lucendo-Monedero, Ruiz-Rodríguez and González-Relaño, 2019). There
are some recent digital transformation or developments that helps the companies to have the
better working in the market. Some recent digital transformation is as described below:
Hybrid workplace: This is one of the most recent digital development that used to
manage the work in the market. As due to happening of the pandemic the employees used to
have set-up of their work from home only. This situation of working is commonly known as the
hybrid workplace. The companies as adopted the hybrid workplace in the COVID-19 time that

it increases the efficiency of the employees and has reduction in the resources.
Artificial intelligence: It is also one of the recent development in the digital market that
helps the large companies to manage the work. This is basically the inclusion of the human

2019). AI used to provide better support to the customers and increases the efficiency of
working. This is the bets digital development that used to provide the better revenues to the

platform that used to exclude the paperwork like use of cheques, pay-bills, etc. This is the most

transformation in the market used to provide the better and faster connectivity. It is the game-

to focus on the key economic activities in the market. There is great advancement of the
industries as previously the large production was done by the used to number of workers. But
now t is changed the industries used to have big and innovative machines that helps them to have
faster production in the market. The industrial revolution in the market used to have better
process that used to have changes in the economy and have machine manufacturing. This helps
the industries a lot as there is fewer labours to work and most of the work is managed by the use
of new machines. These continuous technological changes in the market used to have the better
working and living in the society.
The most common example of continuous industrial development id agriculture
economy. In this economy there are continuous changes which helps to have the faster
production in the market. There is improvement in the past years as there is use of better
fertilizers and technology that manages the growth (Unuofin, 2020). It is very important to have
the industrial development that helps them to have the best manufacturing and industrial process.
There are some industrial advancements that includes the electric power production, paper
productions, different chemical processes, etc. There is basically four main stages in the industry
advancement that includes introduction, growth, maturity and decline. This stages must be
followed by every type of industry in order to adopt the changes in the market. By developing
the new products and services it is very important for the company go follow such stated stages.
Digital skills in demand: Digital skills refers to those skills that used to evaluate, share
and use the content of the digital services. This is the most required skills as there is development

The digital marketing skill is the crucial digital skill that the person must have in order to have

promotion of the products. It is the most required skill as companies who used to launch new
products helps them to have advertisement for the product by using the digital channels. This
digital skill will attract the customers to know about the new and existing products in the market.
The another digital skill that the tech companies are looking for is to have the digital business
analytics of the data. By having this skill it helps the companies to have better gathering of the
information. This is also the most required digital skill as this is in demand that supports the
company to have better decision- making. By having focus on the digital skills it used to have
proper security of the data and other information that are required to be kept confidential.
Another recent digital skill is email marketing skills that helps the companies and other
areas to have the better working. The person must have the email servicing knowledge as this is
one of the oldest form of sending the messages to one another. By having the better marketing it
helps the person to have the better communication skills that are required in the digital market. It
is very crucial to have the digital skills that makes the individuals or companies to grow up with

As it is seen that the hospitality industry is mainly focused on the digital development in
the market (Ren and et.al., 2020). For example, the hospitality industry used to have the AI that
helps them to manages the customers over there. This industry also accepts the online booking
and payment system that is very helpful for the customers to avail the services.

The modern workplace in hospitality industry is Hilton that used to have many locations
all over the world. By having different locations makes the company to have the use of Artificial
Intelligence which attracts the customers to visit such place. The hospitality uses the robots in
order to provide services to the customers.
The another example is of retail industry as this industry also have good focus on the
digital development in the market. As they used to accept the online payment system that is
beneficial for the customers. This attracts the customers to buy the products from those stores
that has online accepting of payments.
The best example of modern workplace in retail industry is Tesco. It is one of the leading
supermarket in UK. The company used to provide online delivery of the products and also have
the online payment system. This makes the company to have good changes by accepting the
digital changes in the market.
These are some examples of different industries and modern workplace that used to have
better collaboration with the teams while adopting digital changes. This increases the efficiency
of the employees in order to work with better and new technologies.
Reflect on own management and leadership skills using a range of models
This part is of reflection of my own management and leadership skills that I have gained
from the past on various occasions. Also, it can be said that I am able to the effectively
management things in my own personal life without depending much on the others. Furthermore,
I have ability to finish all my the work on given deadlines thus ensuring effective management
across various levels. Moreover, I have realized that motivation is key to success in any field
thus I always try to remain motivated so that better influence might be made on others to carry
out certain things. Furthermore, getting the feedback from my supervisors and collogues I have
realized that I am also good leader as I have the ability to lead group of diverse team members in
the well-defined manner.
Also, I am also efficient enough to assign various roles and responsibilities within the
team according to the individual strengths and weakness. Moreover, this might be linked to the
Belbin team role model where I have realized that I fall into the implementer category where
my major strength is that I am more of practical, reliable and efficient individual that understand
importance of each work and identifies what needs to be done. However, this category
sometimes proved to be inflexible and there are higher chances that there is slow respond to new

possibilities (Hapsari, Surjandari and Komarudin, 2019). Although from the overall observation
and collective reviews I have identified that management skills involves the proper
accountability of all the task that have been carried out and thus it can be said that I am also
accountable to work that have been carried out by me. Moreover, the leadership style that have
been adopted by me in my previous assignments was participative one as I have come to know
from my supervisors about it (Leadership Models, 2022).. Furthermore, through this approach I
was able to collect the ideas and opinions about the project and further this has ensured that best
decisions are made in end. Also, it has allowed me to build the strong group of network that has
good at building more empathy and motivation while carrying out various activities.
Furthermore, when such groups are formed than it would help in overcoming future challenges
in the through more positive and collaborative approach. However, such management and
leadership skills needs to be improved with period as different workplace demands different
approach and practices and thus this needs to be kept in mind while performing any task.
Also, I have realized that apart from these skills there are various non digital skills such
as influencing that is very much required in demonstrating the best leadership. Hence, this is
quite goods in me as I am able to the make all diverse team members to the carry out certain
complex task in efficient manner through providing the necessary support and the guidance
wherever required (Spoon, Rubenstein and Terwillegar, 2021). However, I have found that my
listening skills are not very good and therefore due to this reason important details are often
missed out. Moreover, there are also chances of miscommunication often in the groups project.
Also, I have realized that I am very curious and loves to know more detail about any project that
has been assigned to me. Furthermore, such curiosity have allowed to discover the new aspects
on various topics that is good for my own personal and professional growth in the future.
Moreover, there are certain non digital skills that are very helpful for the future and this respect
it can be said that I need to learn more being safe online and this very important so that all the
necessary documents that are used for delivering any kind of data would remain safe and also the
right source of information is access from the verified sources. Usually in such problems I rely
more on others to ensure that the data collected by me is safe and secure so that best outputs are
the delivered in end (Vaccarello, Kratochwill and Asmus, 2022). Also, it can be said that if
browsing is done safely at various websites than it would help in protecting the computer from
getting into any kind of problems or viruses.

Moreover, I have also come to know from the feedback provided by the supervisors that
my problem solving skills are also not very effective as I usually rely on others when any
complex situations arise. Also, in this respect it can be said that my thinking power is limited to
the knowledge that I have already having it and thus I am unable to think out of box. Moreover,
problem solving skills need to be developed in right way to ensure that complex situation are the
solved through positive approach rather getting tensed or worried most of the time Thus, it is
very important to develop such skills in timely manner as it would allow me to discover the new
opportunities and identify the certain risk in advance in well-defined manner (Zeike and et.al.,
2019). This would also help me to take certain steps that is necessary for my development while
working at my desired workplace. Moreover, to improve all these digital and non digital skills
action plan would be developed so that the weakness are improved in timely manner. However,
such action plan need to be approved by the superiors or any other people to assure that all points
are covered in the best way and there are no problems while carrying the tasks as they are been
planned.

much helpful as it would allow in solving the problems in best of manner. Furthermore, this
action would ensure that above digital and non digital skills are developed in systematic way and

also it would ensure that all the activities are carried out in timely manner so that best output are
derived in the end (Kivimäki and Meriluoto, 2018).. Also, this action plan consist of the
timescale that would help in specifying that all the above skills are achieved the yearly basis.
Furthermore, action plans are made in way that helps in tracking the overall progress so that if
any deviations found in between than the corrective measures might be taken on time. Moreover,
it is known that all these skills are not only effective for workplace growth but are also essential
of personal development as it would help in solving some personal life problems in efficient
manner.
Also, development of such skill will ensure that positive work culture is developed and
maintained in the future as things would be as known in much clear manner and also better
understanding will be developed in carrying certain activities within the workplace. Moreover,
this action plan would be able to increase the motivation to achieve certain target on time and
will also help in providing sense of purpose and reducing mental stress on the large level.
Furthermore, this action plan would be helpful in future for those individuals that are struggling
very hard to achieve similar skills at certain point. Thus, it can be said at last that such type of
development plan that is stated above would improve my existing critical thinking skills and also
researching skills that are also very important to achieve excellence in various fields in the
future.
