internet. Main aim of this report is to enhance digital skills of an individual within the workplace.
This report is based on how to write a professional CV, benefits, feelings, evaluation and its
analysis.
TASK
Digital skill is important and essential part for student because it will help them in
enhancing its knowledge and ability about specific subject. Preparation of CV will also help a
student to improve their skills related to MS-Word, MS-Excel etc. All these skill will support an
individual to achieve better outcomes within given time period. Along with this, in order to
enhance digital skills, preparation of professional CV play vital role. During preparation of this
CV, an individual automatically enhance its knowledge and ability about how to work in MS-
Word, ME-Excel. There are different importance of having a digital skills such as it will help a
student to communicate all information in proper manner with their supervisors.
Gibbs reflective model: It is an essential model which will help an individual to define
their overall experience about the subject. This, model includes different stages which are
determine as under:

Evaluation
Throughout this module, the most favourable aspect was regarding use of Microsoft
Word. It did not take much time for me to get used to several aspects, shortcuts and appropriate
formatting necessary for developing a CV. It enhanced my skills in relation to drafting a
professional CV and presenting my information formally, using extensive features of the
software. However, one challenging aspect was using MS Excel. The software requires advanced
digital skills to be used to work upon the same. Various formulas along with tabular presentation
was very much challenging and complex for me.
Analysis
Through this module, I realised the importance of possessing digital skills and how
important is knowledge and understanding regarding digital technology is for developing an
effective professional career. I could have undergone several seminars to learn how to make a
CV and could have approached my tutors for appropriate feedbacks. This would have helped me
in working more effectively in the module.
Conclusion
In my opinion, digital technology is very important to be possessed by each individual
looking to develop a sound professional career. With this module, I developed several skills in
relation to using digital technology such as precision, several features, presentation, etc.
However, after the module I feel confident in using digital technology and the developed skills
could provide me with ease in my professional career ahead.
Action Plan
If I encounter such module in the future, where digital skills are required to be developed,
I would undergo effective training sessions for the same and would take assistance of my fellow
colleagues and tutors in development of these skills in a more productive manner.
