INTRODUCTION
Digital technology in business helps in creating value business models and enhance
internal capabilities and helps in maintaining competitive advantage. Also, the presentation will
provide the short summary where various business models, use of hardware and software in
business and various technological platforms will be discussed. Moreover, short conclusions will
also be drawn out of the whole emerging digital technology concept in business and its future.
Lastly, certain strategic recommendations will also be provided to the tea traders so that it would
be able to enhance it effectiveness in the long run and maintain the goodwill in the market.

Short summary of the finding from the CWI
 Hardware and software are the two main components that are used in every business as
there is growing use of technologies in very sector. Also, hardware is important as it
helps in allocating the power when required for communicating and coordinating other
components of the computer while the software is used for identifying the meaningful
usage of individual.
 Also, in the report it was clearly specified that with frequent changes in the technology
developing better hardware and software system will help in performing more advance
functions and helps the business in storing critical data of the company that might be used
for the future references.
 Moreover, the report had identified various technological platforms such as database
platforms that helps in controlling and classifying various types of data. Furthermore, the
study had clearly specified that irrespective of the size of the business almost all the
organization whether big or small uses hardware and software so that various business
functions might be processes smoothly. However, the major requirement is mainly for the
IT sector as most of the tasks are carried out digitally.
 The report had also identified that both hardware and software are used as effective
business tool that helps any particular company to reach maximum number of customers
and increase the sales of the business. Moreover, through hardware the company is able

small scale it needs to observe one of the major challenge related to Information and

would ensure that maintenance cost is reduced and would also be able to ensure tougher
security through using various anti virus protection tools. Thus, the risk of the cyber
threats is also decreased to the larger extent. Also, the company needs to make sure that
all the hardware and software system are updated to the latest versions so that no such
kind of digital challenges are faced in the future.
 Furthermore, it is suggested to tea traders with the usage of the cloud storage the firm
would be able to store large number of customer data in form of total number of visits,
amount paid by customers, discounts availed at the time of purchase and much more.

 Also, another challenge that is faced by various companies in recent times of pandemic is
working from the remote places. Thus, it is suggested to tea traders that with proper
usage of the cloud computing it would be able to ensure greater effectiveness as cloud
computing helps in setting the virtual offices where there is enough flexibility to the
workers and the management of the company to connect to the business from any
location at any point of time. Hence, it would not create problems in times of complex
situations, at any place where the data need to be shared form one person to another or
when contingency theory is in practice within the firm as easy communication might be
established.

 Moreover, it is suggested to quoted firm that with current challenges of maintaining the
customer base or enhancing the market share within the target region it is essential that
nature of abilities of doing things are improved through using the best software systems
within the workplace that would allow the business to offer new customer services in best
of manner. Also, it is recommended that through good software systems the firm would
be able to maintain the competitive advantage and quickly identified the recent trends in
the sales and or the total spending in the business thus making it m ore efficient for the
longer terms. Also, in the era of upcoming of various new digital technologies it is
essential that hardware and software systems are very well understood by each individual
the workplace so that productivity and efficiency are increased to higher level
