BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Project management plan is help to formal and approved document. This will help to
manage project report and successful research project. It will be solve different kind of business
activity's like operation management, marketing, human resource management and accounting.
The research will be based on different kind of methodology. On the other hand, research is
based on impact of digital technology on business activity. Digital technology is help to conduct
a new business in unique way (Ward, 2016). In addition, manager will be focus on aims and
objective of investigation project, than produce project management plan for successful
completion of research project. This kind of research will be affect in many departments are as
follows : Operation management : Operations management is the only area of management
concerned with designing and controlling. It will be focus on production and distribution
of goods and services or redesigning business operation. Marketing : Marketing department is use digital technology for improve number of
customer in market place (Ramazani, 2015). It is used to create, keep and satisfy every
customer or development of new product strategies. Human resource department : Hr. department is focus on internal environment of
business activity related to payroll benefit, hiring, firing and keeping up to date statues of
internal environment of organisation.
Accounting department : Accounting department is part of organisation, which is
responsible for preparing financial statement, maintain consumer accounting information,
provide legal bill to every customer.

accordingly. Risk : Not a single project is risk free, so identify risk and issue factors. All such kind of
factor is identify in first phrase of research project. In this stage, identify those factors
which is give negative impact on research project (Porter, M.E et.al.,2019). Project
manager will take some important stage to overcome different risks in future research
work. Organisation must be focus on some strategies to solve any risk at research work.

different types such as Positivism and Interpretivism, which can be used for getting most
appropriate results from a research study. In the present research positivism research
philosophy has been used in order to identify the impact of digital technology on H&M. Research design : In this context, research design is to be focus on research outline of
overall research project. There are to be focus on some new techniques which is help and
change as per the need of operation management. There are various research designs such
as exploratory and descriptive. Exploratory research is conducted for issues that has not
been studies more clearly, develop operational definitions and improve the final research.
On the other hand descriptive research is known as a research method that determines the
characteristics of the population or phenomenon that is studied. In the present report
descriptive research has been performed in order to identify the characteristics of
employees working in H&M to understand their thoughts or views with respect to digital
technology. Sampling : Sampling refers to the group of individuals, customers or employees for
whom the interview or survey is been conducted in a research. There are two types of
sampling such as Probabilistic and Non-Probabilistic. The research has used non-

work ask and fill the questionnaire or collect the proper information. All such is based on
research aims and objective which is give positive outcome of overall research work. In
this research examiner has chosen 40 sample size. The sample consist employees
working in H&M. Data collection : In this context, collect the data form different source and with the help
of different method. This is one of the most important part of research work and collect
overall information about profit and productivity must be improve profit. There are two
most important types of data are quantitative and qualitative (Gangotra, 2016).
Quantitative research is used in order to analyse and interpret numerical data such as
numbers, statistics etc whereas Qualittaive data refers to the information which is in
described form. They are been find in two different ways, first is focus on particular
response of researcher and second one is numerical way. In addition, statistical method is
used for it. In this research report quantitative research method is used to identify the
impact of digital technology on the performance and profitability of H&M.
Data analyse : Data analyse tool is most useful part for overall research process. In
addition, some advantages and disadvantages is also improved for collect such kind of
information (Kendrick, T and et.al.,2015). Data analysis is helps in finding most useful
