INTRODUCTION
In current environment technology is being used by all sectors of business and helps
businesses to ease the complex task so that targets are attained on specified period of time
(Bruno and et.al., 2018). This report study the role of technology in healthcare workplace and to
gain the understanding and knowledge on this particular topic researcher use the secondary
source of research that includes literature review so that viable results are presented at the end
of this research. At last it presented some recommendation on the specified that is highly
beneficial for hospital to use the technology at their working place and provides attractive health
care services to people during COVID 19 situation.
RATIONALE
The main reason for conducting the research is to identify the use of technology in
modern workplace during COVID 19. Involving with the digital research project reflects the
personal and professional interest of researcher for conducting this research (Konttila and et.
al., 2019). In terms of personal terms this study helps in developing the several skills such as
internet savvy skill, time management skill, digital skill, communication skills that supports
investigator to sustain in professional market and grow career within the specified field of
healthcare settings. In terms of professional aspects involving within this research provides in
depth analysis on digital skills and use of technology within healthcare setting so that
investigator survive long time period within the business industry. By conducting this study,
healthcare workplace acknowledge detailed information and understanding about how
technology supports the modern healthcare workplace to providing care and safety to the
person who need this.

METHODOLOGY
Research methodology refers to specific procedures that are used to identify select,
process and examine information on specified topic. It helps researcher to evaluate the study
overall reliability and validity so that conclusion is to be drawn effectively and positively. To
properly conduct the research, investigator focus on evaluating several terms of research
methodology so that reliable and authentic aspects are to be selected for conducting this
particular research. There are various aspects of research methodology that are presented
below:
Research Philosophy- There are several types of research philosophy that includes
interpretivism, positivism, realism and pragmatism. To conduct this research on use of
technology in healthcare, researcher used interpretivism research because it reflects thematic
results of investigation to meet the above objectives in an efficient manner.
Research approach- It includes basically two types of approach that is inductive and
deductive research approach. This research is based on secondary analysis so that researcher
uses the inductive approach that is concerned with generation of new theory emerging from
data.
Research methods- There are two types of research methods that include quantitative
and qualitative research. In terms of conducting this research, investigator adopts the use of
qualitative research so that thematic information is to be presented that presents the viable
conclusion at the end of research (Nicoloro and et. al., 2020).
Data analysis- Collection of data is to be done with the help of secondary and primary
method. In terms of conducting this research, investigator use the secondary sources where
information would be collected with the use of articles, journals, scholarly books and journals
with the support of systematic literature review that helps in reflecting authentic conclusion at
the end of the research.
LITERATURE REVIEW METHODOLOGY
Literature review refers to the method of survey the information on specific topic so that
reliable conclusion is to be drawn. While conducting a current research, researcher used the

books, scholarly articles, journals to understand the research title and effectively generate the
information that fulfills the objectives of research so that viable and authentic conclusion would

technology in healthcare field helps in quickly access the information related to medication using
the handheld devices. This technology is used by healthcare patients to tracking the doctor’s
appointments and set the reminders to acknowledge the medications. Although, it helps in
easily analyze the past records of patients and provide them effective care. The main use of
technology is the telemedicine that is effectively develops the value of tele-health. The use of

is very helpful in producing the procedure of vaccine of COVID 19 which is quite effective for the
people of world. In this 3D printing is majorly affected technology that wonders the aspects of
healthcare. This advanced technology is used in positive manner and also impacted positively
to the healthcare setting. This 3D printing is living on the skin along with individual person blood
vessels. This usage of technology is very beneficial at the time of COVID 19 era where patients
are not visiting the healthcare places like hospitals. This helps in crucial grafting the skin of the
burn victims. At the time of COVID 19, healthcare workplace highly spending in AI that helps in

combining the medicine and technology in fighting COVID 19. The advancement in technology
is also very useful at the time of maintaining coordination with people like tracking their health
records by using digital equipment’s. In recent environment robots are vital and common within
hospitals that provide helps to surgeon in operating patients at COVID 19 situation. Hence, It is
to be presented that using technology in healthcare setting during COVID 19 is impacted
positively on the patients and improves the health of people while maintaining trust of people on
hospitals.
Identify the impact of technology for improving patients safety within healthcare
workplace

is impacted positively on improving the patient safety within healthcare workplace and it is to be
presented in few manners that presented below:
 Facilitates an effective communication between clinicians- In a patient’s health care

care. This will increase the miscommunication or errors and it will affect the contribution

RECOMMENDATIONS
As per the above analysis on use of technology in healthcare workplace several points
are to be recommended to hospital so that effective outcomes are present in offering services to
people of society. Some recommendations are to be presented below on the use of technology
by healthcare workplace that is Hospitals:
 The prominent recommendation that is provided by researcher to hospital is that the use
of artificial intelligence for training the surgeons and offers practice operation so that in

reality they do their best and patients cannot face any health issue while operating. This
is also beneficial for patient to proven the effective in pain management.
 Another recommendation for the use of technology within healthcare workplace that is in
hospitals is the safety and security. In which safety is based on patients and security is
about controlling the access of patents (McGhin and et. al., 2019). At the time of COVID
19 safety and security of patients are very crucial for this company adopts the use of
data recorded to record the data of patients online that helps in reducing the face to face
interaction of care taker and patients.
 Another recommendation is that hospitals use robots as technology while operating a
person. As these robots are improving the healthcare efficiency by assisting the
surgeons properly and efficiently. it helps in improving the care of patients within the
healthcare workplace.
